What's been happening?

Okay. Hasn't been any post here lately.

Plenty of reasons why.

First, no time.

Second, time but no will.

Third, no internet access.

So what's been happening?

During the last couple of weeks, I've discovered podcasts!

Podcasts are nothing new, of course. But I've never really paid any heed to them before. Why listen when you can read? But then, one random night without anything to do, while I was on the Verge's mobile site, I just clicked on the podcast. And I listened to the whole thing. And then I did the same with the Gizmodo podcast.

All this, on my phone, of course. And here again, let me point out a couple of things that I didn't like about how the WP Mango handles podcasts.

If you're syncing via you Windows (Zune) or Mac (Windows Phone Connector) - you can of course sync podcasts. But, you can't do it from the mobile alone. When I click on the mp3 version, the music player does open it up - but then the phone can't do anything else while it's streaming. You switch to something else (I wanted to play a game while listening) and it just stopped. What a bummer. Then I found a free app called PODCASTS! on the marketplace, which, downloads and syncs and plays podcasts like one should expect them to play. It does have a few bugs, but then, it works.

Did I write about WWDC? Don't remember. And don't want to check out.

But the big thing is, in these few bigs, Apple, Android and Windows Phone, all have announced their next major OS'. Plus the Surface tablet has surfaced. And so has the Nexus 7. 

All these updates I was getting with my RSS app, Pulse. So, haven't been out of touch with the world. That was till my 3G was working.

3G ran out. No internet for a couple of days. Then I dunno why, oh, why, but I got the Edge plan in. It's too slow. TOO TOO slow. I'll get back to 3G soon.

Yesterday, I didn't want to go home and well, do nothing. So I ended up going and watching Spiderman alone. It was good fun.

Tomorrow I fly to Kolkata and hopefully get my Mac fixed over the next week.
