It may or may not make the regular news, but there has been a major landslide in the tiny town of Wrangell Alaska, and homes have been swept away. The result of historic rains and wind. Alaska has been experiencing the effects of climate change on a magnified level due to its location. Remoteness makes rescue difficult, but Alaskans are a strong people that take care of each other. I hope against hope that there aren’t too many casualities 😞.
