Vakna: the Magician, the Hierophant, the Hanged Man. Maria: the Magician, the Devil, the Hermit. Crane: the Chariot, the Magician, the Hierophant
Maria:
The Magician: What would your muse draw if given paper andmarkers?
Maria wouldn’t draw anything. She’d put them in her backpackin case she needed to make notes or a map or something later. If she absolutelyhad to draw something, it would probably be a silly little picture of a floweror something.
The Devil: What was the worst relationship your muse hasever had?
Well first of all, Maria’s never been in a romanticrelationship, with the exception of specific threads. Her default if you’vejust started writing with her is never been kissed. So I’m gonna go heavy onthis one and say her relationship with God.
The Hermit: If your muse were trapped alone on an island, name three things they'd have to have.
Really challenging to get this under four, because she hastwo dedicated magical items and they’d be her best chance of getting off theisland (probably not the original intent of the question.) So, 1) Her runedstaff, magical item #1, 2) Her rosary, which has been altered to include bothCatholic and Awakened symbolism, and is magical item #2, 3) A codex of magicmanipulation which she’s been carrying secretly and protecting, because shebelieves the magic within is too dangerous to be widely disseminated, but shecan’t bring herself to destroy it.
Vakna:
The Magician: What would your muse draw if given paper andmarkers?
She’d start sketching out plans for her next sculpture.
The Hierophant: What is one rule or law your muse wouldnever break?
Man. Never is a really challenging word. The best I can thinkof is that while she has no medical training, magically she’s a healer, so shetries to adhere to the Hippocratic Oath: do no harm. But that’s only with herpatients. If you find yourself on the wrong side of a fight with her, you havea good chance of being harmed.
The Hanged Man: Name a bad habit your muse can't give up.
Trusting people before she really knows them
Crane:
The Chariot: If your muse ruled the world, what would theychange first?
His first action would be to abdicate.
The Magician: What would your muse draw if given paper andmarkers?
Two-dimensional approximations of non-Euclidean geometry.
The Hierophant: What is one rule or law your muse wouldnever break?
Crane’s got that thing about lying. He’ll do everything hecan to get around it, but he hates to lie directly. But he’ll break that if hehas to. Honestly, he tries to do good in the world, but I can’t think of a linehe wouldn’t cross if he felt it was necessary.
@lokigodof here be your cats
What big cat would your muse be?
Maria:
Tiger: You are beautiful and strong, and know how to captivate the attention of everyone when you walk into a room. People may mistake you for being unfriendly, but you are shy around those that you do not know. Once someone gains your trust, they have a friend for life.
Vakna:
Lion You are a natural-born leader, and people admire you for your integrity. You don't like to spend too much time alone and prefer the company of others. People are often impressed by your determination and work ethic, and you like knowing that people look up to you as a role model.
Crane:
Leopard: You have a mysterious aura about you, and you are highly selective about those that you choose to keep in your inner circle. Oftentimes, you can be found doing an activity alone, and you aren't always the most social. People may refer to you as the loner type. But it doesn't bother you. You enjoy your time to yourself. Sometimes you can be rather quiet, but that's just because you want to better take in your surroundings.
Maria, do you read the Bible sometimes? And what’s the last book you read?
“I read the Bible often. Due to my particular nature, the kind of guidance I seek can’t always be found at confession. The last book I read was a codex on the manipulation of magical energy. How to draw it from its source in the ley lines that crisscross the world and use it. Or how to put it back.”

My muse, my flatmate

Repost, don’t reblog.
Imagine sharing a flat with your muse.
Maria
1. If your muse was your flatmate, what would you like about them?
She’s very quiet, and she does her half of the chores. Sometimes I think she subsists entirely on microwave meals and power bars, which is weird because she seems to be kind of a health nut otherwise. Like I don’t know where she works out but this woman is ripped. I’m pretty sure she could break a person’s arm by like...glaring. So also I don’t really worry about burglars.
2. What would you dislike?
She’s...very quiet. It’s disconcerting. I think she would like by herself if she could afford it. I have no idea what she does for a living. She comes and goes at odd hours. A couple times I think I hear her having what sounded like one-sided arguments with God in the middle of the night.
4. What would their alarm sound like in the morning? What would their ringtone be?
Oh god it’s just that standard alarm sound I wish she would change it and she gets up so early. I think the ringtone on her phone is the default one.
5. What music would they listen to?
I have never heard her listen to music.
6. Who would come to visit them?
No one. That’s weird, right?

1. If your muse was your flatmate, what would you like about them?
Well first of all, she doesn’t ask for rent, which worried me but she seems cool. I needed a place to stay in the city for a few months and she offered. She’s really nice, very kind of bubbly but like, with substance behind it. It’s fun living above her shop, I hang out in there sometimes or sometimes she asks me to mind the counter when she’s out. She let’s me look at the art projects she’s working on and that’s pretty cool although I don’t quite get it.
2. What would you dislike?
She lacks a lot of basic life skills, like I had to teach her how to clean the bathroom and I’m trying to teach her how to cook something more complicated than spaghetti but...we eat a lot of spaghetti when it’s her nice to cook.
4. What would their alarm sound like in the morning? What would their ringtone be?
She has this like ambient forest noise thing for an alarm, you’d think it would be relaxing but I am getting so tired of fake river sounds. I haven’t even kept track of her ringtones, I think she’s one of those people who gives everyone a different ringtone. Mine is Beethoven’s Fifth because I told her I was into classical music.
5. What music would they listen to?
Mostly top 40, whatever’s on the radio. When she’s working on art, sometimes she likes those CDs where they put new age-y piano music over forest sounds. Kind of like the alarm.
6. Who would come to visit them?
She had a boyfriend for a while...that’s her business...it’s weird though. A lot of odd people come into the gallery, and she spends a lot of time talking to them in the back room. She says it’s about commissions. But this is like...a lot of the time. She asks me to use the other door to the flat when she’s busy and that opens onto the alley which is a little creepy.
Crane (Alex)
1. If your muse was your flatmate, what would you like about them?
He’s a really good cook, and he shares. He’s neat, does more than half of the chores; he’s the only man I’ve ever shared a place with who doesn’t leave hair in the sink when he shaves. Seriously, that is important. He doesn’t seem like he wants to be besties or anything but he’s polite and interesting to talk to.
2. What would you dislike?
Would it be weird if I said there’s just something...I dunno. Something odd about him. He’s some kind of research psychologist but he comes and goes at really odd hours. A lot of times I don’t hear the door, and that’s strange cause it creaks pretty loudly. I think he must read people really well, being a psychologist, because whenever I start to think things are really weird he cooks something nice for dinner, or brings me a book I might like, like some nice roommate token, but...I never actually say anything.
4. What would their alarm sound like in the morning? What would their ringtone be?
I’ve never heard him use an alarm. I’ve known other people who can do that, like they just automatically wake up at a certain time. His phone is usually on vibrate but the first time I heard it, it was David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance,” and I thought that was neat because...he doesn’t show that kind of personality much. But then the next time it was the William Tell Overture, which was really odd. And then after that it was “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk...I swear he’s messing with me with this but I haven’t mentioned anything about it.
5. What music would they listen to?
Oh my god, if I never hear any more free jazz...he just changed the CD. Like, now. What the fuck?
6. Who would come to visit them?
I don’t think he has very many friends. He’s brought girls home a few times but he’s always discreet about it. More often he won’t come home and I’ll catch him doing the “walk of shame” the next morning. I think he likes to be private about stuff. Once this woman with this French name came over...I can’t remember the name, she was like a colleague or something, but they didn’t realize I was home, and they left when they heard me in my room. No door again. That’s weird, right? Like he’s a great roommate but some of this stuff...
Wait, what was I talking about? Hang on, Alex just knocked on the door, he says he just finished reading a book and he thinks I’d really like it.
