Every once in a while, people will come and go, leaving their indents in the milky winter beneath their feet. She'll notice their figures between forestry and hear them wreak their noise before disappearing, silhouettes in the distance. Why did she have to get stuck with a grown child who found fear in everything? Anything could have happened to her, and she was stuck searching to and fro for a woman would blended into the wall on a normal day. Great.
She's cold, irritable. What was even the point of this? She's not one for children's games, no matter the stakes. Her bed seemed far nicer in comparison to a tree, despite being a human-tree hybrid thing. Sorry, trees.
Another shadow broke the pitch horizon, this time in her imminent path. At first she actually hopes it's Haku, just to stop this incessant mess, but as it grows closer it proves too short by a large margin to be her. Wonderful.
