Wreck-It Ralph (2012) Pencil Test: Dialogue from 'Cyrus' by Nik Ranieri
The SoundWorks Collection talks with the sound and music team of Disney's Wreck-it Ralph including David Fluhr (Sound Re-recording Mixer), Gary Rizzo, (Sound Re-recording Mixer), Frank Eulner (Supervising Sound Editor), and Composer Henry Jackman.
Take a look at this video.
While researching about music in films, I came across this video for the sound of Wreck-it Ralph. In the video they talk about how they made sections of the music and dialogue 8-bit so it would fit with the theme of retro gaming. I found it interesting finding out that they did this while still making appealing to listen to.
Reviewing the Wreck-It Ralph Trailer
Of course we all love the action packed ‘Fast and Furious’ movie trailers or the beauty of ‘Fault in our Stars’ but typically, I’ve got to say that I am also guilty of opting for PG movies too. Obviously, my very mature, wise and sensible family members and I were the first to buy tickets to go and see Wreck It Ralph at the cinema and were very proud to do so. I love that this movie trailer has no secrets. Straight away you jump into the mind of the main character and see snippets of his whereabouts during the course of the movie. The sound track that is paired up with the movie trailer, takes away all of the sadness that the character may be feeling and fills you with excitement for the movie. This would have been a very appealing movie trailer to those of a younger age also.
Vanellope van Schweetz as Kitty Pryde. My favourite character from Wreck-it Ralph and my favorite X-men. That's all.
