Trapping Chronozon - 9♠️
I did it. I almost lost myself during it… I could feel myself start to slip… but I did it. He doesn’t seem as angry as I expected, but that doesn’t mean he seems happy either.
Now to cause some problems for the Corp and keep Smugg from doing something stupid. Please work.
I found pages I didn't capture and post. These should be the end of the 1st day. 6/25/93.
Lynch is a good dad.
If you enjoy these posts could you do me a favor and spread this around a bit? I am curious if anyone is enjoying them or if I'm just spewing this stuff out into the void. I find the idea of a murder mystery told through the investigstor's journal pretty fascinating and the use of the demon deck in Wreck This Deck is a fun way of generating the story.
This is still a pretty big challenge for me. Coming up with actual details as I go. It's pretty rewarding. I'm not exactly breaking any new ground here. It's definitely very Twin Peaks with a dash of True Detective. I even named the protagonist after David Lynch. But this is a genre I've never really written in outside of running games like Call of Cthulhu. I am curious if I can make a serious attempt at writing something that resonates with people, even if it's a small audience.
Hey I guess im doing this??? I’m still excited but I’m also more wary since I used a bunch of energy in a single day for trapping a demon-
Wait ok I should prob start with what this is!!! I’m Cameron, but the book says give your True Name so hopefully this doesn’t work on fae rules since like. I put my true name right in the blog title it’s Scales. Kinda like the animal scales but also tilting scales in your favor? Kinda corny but im kinda corny!!!!
((OOC: hey this is @hauntingthemorg doing fun stuff with Wreck This Deck, a solo RPG. I’ll post a link to the store page in a bit they just finished up a backerkit for it to start so it’s not there yet. I’m playing Cameron Riviera AKA Scales, and I’m going to TRY to keep up with this blog but im at least journaling about it in my real life. I will post my pics of stuff tomorrow))
Episode Notes Welcome to Alone at the Table. I'm glad you're here. In this episode, I bring you part two of my playthrough of Becky Anniso
PART TWO - in which it gets a whole lot worse for Vi.
I’m pleased and excited to be showcasing a game that’s crowdfunding on Backerkit all through the month of June!
Wreck This Deck is a dark urban fantasy game of solo journaling, demon summoning and deck crafting. Summon and bind demons into your Demon Deck, defacing the cards as you go. Demon summoning is dangerous and you’re bound to get into some sticky situations as you play but it’s nothing you can’t handle - right?
Oh, and what's this? a bonus episode?

My deckrunner, Vi, is having a hell of a time with temptation after trapping her first demon.
As promised: my deck-wrecking photos.
Wild developments.
Correction for two pages - legit happened due to scatterbrained, frantic writing in the moment. The thing about this journal is that it's a living document up for review. I'm sure this won't be the last time it happens but I will try not to let it be frequent.
