Its been a while since I tackled background and layout design. So I decided to challenge myself with designing a house and some rooms within. I honestly forgot how much I enjoy coming up with settings and drawing spaces. I have much improving to do, but these were fun.

So! here are some rough work-ups of this ranch house concept. I’m aiming on taking one of these and making it pretty & doing colour + lighting concepts.

These were some character idea sketches I made for a lipsync I’m working on! The sound clip is from ‘What We Do in the Shadows’, one of my favorite films ever. So I decided to base these fellas on Vladislav and Stu from the film. :D

I ended up going ahead with the top left and bottom right characters.
