reasons why alex(x wren) is amazing:

our connection: alex has always been so unbelievably sweet. when he first confessed his crush, i didn’t feel the same at all. we barely talked an only had a couple classes together but yet, he still liked me.

we did become friends, though, and he never ever asked me about my feelings unless I brought them up, always considerate of the fact that thinking about relationship stuff made me uncomfortable

because of our many years-long friendship before we started dating, we can use half as many actual words to say twice as meaningful of a message.
