Something different for a change....
Okay! So, Essie is an ambassador for the Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation this year and as such, is taking part in a charity abseil off of Wrest Point in Hobart in September! Truly in the spirit of Phryne and inspiring on all fronts.
So, now for why I drew this specific picture; as part of the fundraising, Essie said she’d dress up if she reached $3,000 (a goal which she has now already smashed!). @essiedavisdaily then brought up the brilliant idea of dressing up in a Panda onesie, and honestly, isn’t that just the best picture?? My brain thought so, anyway. And who knows, maybe Essie really will wear one? Only time will tell, I suppose 😂🐼
PS: I drew this purely for fun and to hopefully support the cause a bit!
If you can/ would like to donate, you can do so at the following link. Let’s help Essie reach her goal of $10,000 and maybe even surpass it!

Wrest Point Gates at 147 Sandy Bay Road - Year Unknown
Prior to being a hotel, the land that Wrest Point is now on, was the site of Wrest Point house, a 700sqm mansion built during the Depression by the richest woman in Tasmania [believed to be a member of the Fitzgerald family]
The mansion was demolished in the 1940s to build the hotel. Wrest Point tower was added in 1973.
