Other than that it’d be his job - he uses his head for the cases and all. Though it’s not really his dream job or anything I don’t think he dislikes being police or anything, probably even enjoys it.

He’s homosexual, I think but umm also notable also he had apparently some feelings towards Tetsuo too - who’s a trans (biologically female), had no strong reaction when this was told and kept seeing him as a male etc. Also certain scene pretty much ascertains this but I don’t want to give heavy spoilers like that haha.
before meeting Tetsuo and Amano it seems like he hadn’t really told about it for anyone? There’s nothing really that’d point him being ashamed of it though, it’s more like he’s just aware of how people might react I think? He also wanted to affect to this somehow - this stuff hasn’t been translated but I did got the gist of what he said. He wanted to start up publishing company basically to try to make at least some people understand better? Amano said ‘he wanted to create a better future’ so I suppose that thing about establishing country was still pretty accurate. This is what I gathered from it anyway.He also said ‘it doesn’t matter who you love, it’s how you love’.
