Headcanon A:  realistic

he’s seen a lot more of humanity than you’d suspect, even knowing he’s undead, and that’s not always a pleasant realization. despite that, he has a hope and kindness in him, even if it’s often buried under his soul deep weariness.

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

the funeral he’s going to is the funeral of the last person who knew him as he was, and yet still understood what he became.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

Headcanon A:  realistic

immediately adopts 100 cats upon getting his own place. 

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

has a tendency to name his cats after people he knows. there’s 3 cats named some variant of ed and one just named ‘brother’. the one named ‘brother’ is named that b/c it gets into the most trouble and when al yells that’s always his automatic response to a given situation. ed Hates This. winry finds it HILARIOUS.
