I really, really enjoyed rewriting book 2. Everything came together and I’m so excited to write book 3 and get that process started.
Bel! And Vin. I like their dynamic, she’s very much a littler sister to him and it is good. I like Bel because she’s dramatic, funny, and very smart about random things. I like Vin because he’s high intelligence, extremely low wisdom, and has a good sense of humor.
Book 2 should be out next week!!!!
Ghost Punch
I like. Rewriting books now. I guess? It’s HARD but it’s FUN. Also I enjoyed working out Finnias and how he interacts with the rest of the cast.
MAX. Max is all things good and pure in this world.
I have titles! Grave Reflection, That’s The Spirit, and Grim Encounter are the first three books! (I have no idea how many books there will be tbh but I am having an extremely good time)
Break the Sky
Figuring out the aesthetics of each novel, tbh.
Probably Mort. He’s studying the flora and fauna of the desert and he’s very Coyote Peterson about it. He’s another high intelligence low wisdom character. I like them dumb I guess. Also Cav because he’s a little shit.
The setting for each novel is different! The first is ye old fantasy London, second is fantasy Arizona (I would say it’s a western but it’s literally just the aesthetics and Mort wears a cowboy hat so not quite), and the third is fantasy Russia.
