silence
As the fairy lights glimmer pink and green, the curtains that are the color of Cosmo from fairly odd parents flowing slightly is the wind coming from the window just how Maddie left it the day she left her posters scatter the wall of every thing you could think of from the the conjuring to henry danger and 3OH!3. The door is slightly ajar a do not disturb sign that looks like a 5 year old made it (because one did). Her bed is full of the stuffed animals on the bright pink bed cover that has Cosmo and Wanda over it, her stuffed rottweiler above them all with her silk baby pink baby blanket tucking it in. Clothes scatter the floor, the bright color contrasts the dark on the piles. Her bag messily thrown in the corner is still open and full of undone school work from January of 2005 the calendar on that January all days crossed out up to the 23rd. Her desk scattered with drawings and stories about everything, the stories like mini diaries because she never knew how to keep one. Every story marked an exciting moment like when the guy she likes would try to scare her by grabbing her shoulders behind. Or when a family member would die. Her entire room left just the way it was the early morning she left through that window and never came back.
