There are hundreds of writing blogs out there offering help, advice and tips, from writing characters to plotting your story, from genre and their tropes to writing settings and world building. But writing advice isn't a one size fits all kind of thing; what works for some people might not work for others.

Writing advice is like a tailored suit, you have to cut some stuff out, twist it and shape it so it suits you.

No one can write like you can, so find what works for you and work with it until you find your custom fit.

The one piece of advice I have for all writers out there: Everyone writes differently. There is no right or wrong way to write your story. What works for one person may not work for you. No one can write like you can, so find what works for you write how you write!

Yay! I now no longer feel bad that I have no outline for my multiple-chapter fic. You’ve given me hope I can finish it after all despite my lack of a detailed outline.

I'll let you in on some writerly knowledge I've picked up.

People who make you feel like you're doing something wrong because you're not sticking to one part of writing or you're not doing one thing (create something every day! USE AN OUTLINE! CREATE CHARACTER SHEETS!)?
