Your turn. Muahahaha! (Though I've seen you answer some of the others before. From this.)
Tan and Brown please.
Brown: Do you have a set writing space? Or do you write everywhere?
Lol so I'm doing these out of order because this is easier to answer imo. So the short answer, a little of both.
The long answer: As far as writing spaces I have two major locations, work and home. When I am at work there really is only one place for me to write (well not entirely true because we have issued laptops but I am not hauling a laptop from my desk to the break room and back) so I tend to write at my desk during breaks/lunch/or slower times where we are just kind of hanging out in-between functions. It's a nice little cubicle where I can stay relatively hidden from view (still getting comfortable writing around/in front of others) and the clicky clack of the keyboard is muffled (I can get going and shred a keyboard if the juices are flowing real good).
When I am at home I have two major spots where I do mah thang. The first but not as often used is the office/game-room where the computer is set up. I tend to use this space most in the early mornings when it's only myself awake (I get up pretty early every day like 3-4am early, a byproduct of a previous job that won't go away...I also am in bed by like 8pm) or when my partner is in the bath or napping. The second and more often used is in the living room on the couch. I've gotten more into the habit of bringing home the laptop during the weekend so if he is playing Rimworld or something else and I'm getting restless (aka bored or wanting to watch something but not wanting to interrupt) I'll head out to the living room. Also as like at work, then he doesn't have to have the clicking of keys right next to him and distract/overstimulate.
Tan: Are you open to co-writing a story?
Idk, maybe? I've thought about this for a while, hence why this reply has taken so long (sorry!). While I don't think I would necessarily be opposed to the idea I don't think I'm yet at a point where that would be conducive to a good story for either party. The time I can actually dedicate to writing is quite slim when I compare it to other things through the day, also my will/desire to write is quite fickle and comes and goes in great boons and famines. This is silly to say, but, I'm not entirely sure what it means to co-write a story. Like I've looked into it and got some broad answers but that's about it. I think I would need a better understanding of what would be expected of me. Plus, I tend to enjoy working alone on things as opposed to with other people (not in a I dislike others way but more in a I am able to curate my projects in a way best for me and I know my way is not the best for others kind of way) (Also I tend to be a martyr when it comes to group work and shoulder too much/feel bad if I think I'm not pulling my weight)
That all said, it is a more positive and light maybe. It is something that if the opportunity arises I would need to give some dedicated thought to and would ask A LOT of questions before giving a definite answer if I felt even a little unsure (ambiguity and I have trouble getting along ^^').
