Gallavich Fic (WIP) // post-s5
Four years later, Mickey's struggling to grasp the new quiet life he has for the past six months- working as a book cover artist under a publishing company at the Westside. He became someone he didn't thought he'll be- someone with a stable income, away from the crimes and from the shitty neighborhood of the Southside, and someone living independently from his family. He never thought he will have any of this, not in this life time- he thought that he'll stay in jail until he was 28 and get a low-paying job to appease his future parole office.
He enjoys his current job until he was assigned a new novel to design to, and the story hit too close to home.

If Mickey didn't escape prison and was granted early release after four years instead. And instead of becoming an EMT, Ian became a writer instead.

Can someone explain to me the different between canon divergence and canon compliant bcs I'm still a bit confused even after googling. This is my first time writing a fic connected to canon 😭
