I’m pretty sure y’all know the Starter Pack meme. Well, what I found is that it’s very helpful to make one for your characters because then you see what really sets them apart and really stands out.

For those that messaged asking how I can possibly plot a whole book and stick to it, the answer is, I don't always. I'm not rigid in my plottings I just write the herbal, overall story in bullet points, with little information dumps all over the place. My reasons for this are two fold, it gets the story out of my head so I'm not bombarded with other characters and info while trying to write something else, and because it is a great motivator. There is nothing worse than sitting down to write, not really in the mood, and being stuck and uninspired. By telling myself that all I have to do is write just one bullet point from my notes I'm encouraging myself to write, and this often leads on to more and more being done. As you can see here I often change my mind, let my characters wander and have to do big crossing out sessions, but to me that's all part of my creative process.
