His face twisted with disgust and loathing as he began to ramble, “I wish I could just get rid of this stupid hunk of rock inside of me!” Right as he said that, the hybrid felt his mind split as he began speaking again, but it wasn’t exactly him doing the speaking.
“N-no we need our gem to survive!” It began.
”Who cares if we live?” This felt as if it came from somewhere else than the other. “Nobody needs us anymore…” It trailed off as the other spoke again.
”We need to stay together! To be Steven.” The seemingly more positive one pleaded.
