Second Annual Black Panther Fandom Collaboration

This is me at this idea ⬇️

So last year I came up with this random idea where writers in the Black Panther(BP) fandom would collaborate and write a fic together. Each would choose which chapter they wanted and depending on where one chapter ended the next would pick up right after it to create one cohesive story.

Last year was AMAZING!!! A lot of you beautiful writers participated and wrote some really great pieces of fiction and it was a lot of fun.

I've been thinking about doing another collaboration but didn't know if anyone would want to participate this go-round.

So this post is a feelers post. I'm thinking about 10 to 12 chapters depending on how many want to participate (could be more than 12 if you guys feel like).

Plot Idea:

****Takes place 8 months after Endgame****

  Backstory:

  T'Challa is home in Wakanda picking up the pieces of the destruction from Thanos, the snap and those coming back from the dust. Five years brings him back to find Nakia married to another.  After his return, he comes back with a new outlook not only of ruling but living life as a good man. One of his first orders of business was to awaken Erik who he placed in a Shuri improved cryosleep after his defeat in Black Panther because he refused to lose any more family.

For the six months, they have been repairing their relationship, Erik's relationship with Wakanda and its people and working to integrate his vision for Wakanda and help the outside world but less radically. This involves a redeemed Erik.

 His second is to welcome the Jabari back into the fold of things vowing to keep an open line of communication between them and to be a more inclusive Wakanda. M'Baku agrees and they too work on their relationship. Their relationship stronger than before with reinforced trust T'Challa decides the golden jaguar just may be ready for its reemergence into the world.

 On a mission together T'Challa and Erik intercept a mission headed by Storm (Ororo Munroe, Vixen (Mari McCabe). Sparks are not the only thing to fly between these four--claws and lightning are just the beginning despite T'Challa's reluctance to bring blood and dust to Wakanda again this time in the form of the most beautiful woman he had seen since Nakia.

 Once M'Baku meets their friend and partner in crime Wildstreak (Tamika Bowden) he falls instantly but is reluctant to bring yet another outsider into Wakanda or his heart.

Black Panther Fandom Writer Collaboration Fic (Participation Please🙏🏽🙏🏽😬😬)

I have a dope FUN idea literally just popped into my head and I don’t think it has been done before. I am nervous and scared as hell no one will wanna participate and this will be a flop, or no one will see this.

So I’d like to try something but I need participation from you guys because it gets better as it continues. I tried this a few times in an acting improve class in college but have never tried it with writing.

I thought this was be a great way for us to interact and get back to the positivity of this fandom while doing something we ALL clearly love doing....WRITING. This could also be used as a learning experience to collab with other writers whose styles are different from our own. (I had something much better and inspirational written here but Tumblr deleted it, so this was my second thoughts uuuugh)

The idea is this: ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

1 fic, made by many writers.

*We start out with a writing prompt or simple basis....

*****Possible Prompt: M’baku, T’Challa, (Redeemed) Erik decide they need to put their differences to the side for the sake of Wakanda and decide to get to know one another better by doing a 10 day “boys trip” to America. You know what they say “What happens in America, stays in America”

-Someone (anyone who signed up for it) goes first and writes chapter one.

-Then someone else writes Chapter 2 keeping in line with the AU and the prompt, the first chapter began.

-Then another person takes up Chapter 3, and so on and so on until we’ve gotten all the chapters written.

-Whoever is writing their chapter has TOTAL control over what they choose to put in it such as the intro of another character, what those characters do or say; but the hope is that it all ties together the further it goes.

The guidelines are simple:

1) Stick to the AU and the prompt .

2) There will be 10 chapters.

3)Each chapter will stand for 1 day of that 10 day trip. Writer who chooses a chapter depicts what happens in that day.

4) Write as much as you are able to or want, as a parameter I’d say minimum 1,000 words, max 3,000. (This is loose with the max, if you feel like you bout that life and wanna write more please blow us away)

5) Everyone follows in order. (We’d create a post where everyone can pre-choose which chapters they want to take (Those who wanna participate)

6) We have to put a time limit on this chapter being put out, so we would have to collectively come up with that. Since summer is winding down and we all will get busier, I’d loosely suggest each writer has 3 days to get their chapter posted. That way we can have 2 chapters a week posted in hopes of wrapping it up by end of August.

6) When chapters are finished we indicate to who is the next to write the following chapter they are it, so they know it’s go time. (Can be done in a message, tag, ask, however u wanna do it)

7) Anything goes, if you wanna make it rated G cool, Rated PG13 yessss, Rated R You got it boo, Rated NC-17 bring it. Just warnings are a must.

8)Needless to say we the writers in the BP Fandom do not condone or support any incest, or derogatory/lewd actions. We will not have it oh!!!

9) HAVE FUNNNNNNNNN WITH IT!!!!!

10) LET YOUR CREATIVITY SHINE THROUGH!!!!

What do yall think? Anyone interested? 10 chapters, 10 writers. If this goes well🙏🏽 and isn’t a complete flop maybe we can do Round 2 with a different prompt.
