Seriously.
Supernatural, the first day of my first creative writing course, I learned to never, ever, seriouslynoteveriWILLfailyou, use "It was just a dream" as a storyline or plot device. I was taught, and believe, that it negates EVERY important meaningful moment that happened during the dream. Sure, dreams are important. What happens in dreams is important. But dreams are only important WITHIN the context of the Real World. If the entirety of season 8 was a dream, then WHY THE FUCK WAS I EVEN WATCHING THIS SEASON? Hey, supernatural? Get writers that care about their job and the writing they're producing, please. I want to care about this show. But I can't care if YOU don't.
