The thing about poems is how cruel they are: they either move you deeply or suck. There is no in between.
I want to shove an old sock in your dirty manwhore mouth. After all, things that loose their purpose belong in the trash.
No surprise for the writer, no surprise for the reader.
Take me by my waist and kiss my lips. Slowly wrap your arms around me and pull me closer. Send me to another world. One where we both are.
Sad words fueled by heavy, harsh thoughts~ they do not escape my lips.
Phobias.
Aren't they weird? Based on prior experiences our brains automatically tell us not only do we not like a certain thing, but that they should be avoided at all costs. As if that wasn't enough, on top of that, our brain tells us to fear them. That if we were to not stay alert on these subjects, then danger is certain. Some phobias are worse than others. How people deal with them, that is. Some being odd and some being extreme while others you may have thought not of a word for. They're sometimes seemingly rooted into our minds without a cause as if a normal human instinct.
Top Ten Phobias:
1. Acrophobia- Fear of Heights 2. Claustrophobia- Fear of Enclosed Spaces 3. Nyctophobia- Fear of the Dark 4. Ophidiophobia- Fear of Snakes 5. Arachnophobia- Fear of Spiders 6. Trypanophoia- Fear of Injection or Medical Needles 7. Astraphobia- Fear of Thunder and Lightning 8. Nosophobia- Fear of Having a Disease 9. Mysophobia AKA Germophobia- Fear of Germs 10. Triskaidekaphobia- Fear of the Number 13

I have an itching urge to write a story. But I need to sleep. Because I know I'll never sleep if I start writing. So, I'll just leave you with one of the most 'unremovable-from-my-brain-although-I-have-no-idea-why' lyric. "Fly me to the moon & let me play among the stars"
