Writing Journal #1 -how does one write a third draft?
That is the question that I have been asking myself since I have started writing the third draft of Book One. How do you write a third draft? Everyone talks about writing a first draft and what you should do there, but what about a third draft?
Do I just write the entire thing and then go back and edit in the fourth draft? Do I edit and write at the same time? Is that possible? I don’t know how to treat this draft, honestly. This is uncharted territory for me. I’ve never gotten this far in a draft before, but here I am and I’m lost.
So far, I have been going back in and adding scenes here and there that I believe are valuable. I’ve edited a few lines, but not to perfection. I’m not sure what to do. I’m typing up my second draft of Book One, and I don’t know whether edits and revisions should be a fourth draft or included in this third draft. Guys, I’m lost and I’m rambling which is the worst part.
Hopefully, I’ll have better news next time.
