1. Of all of the original characters you have written, do you have a favorite?
Hmmm…. is this talking about fanfiction or original fiction? I think I’m gonna do both just to be safe!
Okay, my favourite original character from a fanfiction of mine is spirited and stubborn Theodora from my Ice Age fanfic novel series Cruel Intentions. In the first ff novel, Theodora is young but already knows her own mind and that goes against the traditions. For example, she’s not afraid to befriend a sabre (like Diego) even if there’s danger there.
And now, the character from my original fiction is Teagan Mamre (these characters AREN’T self-inserts even if they have my first initial in my name) because she is unlike any other character I’ve written so far. She is the girl from the wrong side of the tracks sent to kill the mark her boss hates and because of the life he’s brought her into, she is riddled with pain and just so very lost. And falling for the man she is supposed to kill - and also the family that fosters her - was not part of her plans. She’s a layered, nuanced, vivid character, so that’s why she’s probably my favourite orig. original character I’ve written so far.
