HARD!

For those who look at me with an "oh that's cute" look when I say I'm a writer. Please try it for a day.

Writing is hard damn work!

You have to get your thoughts on paper, edit, do SEVERAL rewrites, query, rewrite that, find an agent, take your rejections like a champ, work with your agent, do ANOTHER rewrite, find a publisher AND stay on top of social media and your website. All of this without going insane.

Writing, my dear dear friends, is hard work. And for those of you wh don't believe it is, kick rocks!
