Day 2 of VN Jam work.
Got a decent first background and some progress on the script. Sound effects are proving to be quite important -- even the simple backing track I've got in this scene is great for atmosphere.

After quite a few odd days, I'm back on the visual novel grind. Don't worry, all: the [EMPTY BOX TO] will soon reveal its secrets.
And by soon, I mean there's still about two weeks, so, ah,
I have to keep finding screenshot-able little snippets...
for two more weeks...
More first draft dialogue -- figuring out the characters a bit more, having fun with descriptions.
