Summary: You use a jealous Pietro’s ignorance to your own advantage to get him to admit your relationship
Warnings: swearing, almost smut
A/N: I was reading through old requests at 1:00 because I couldn’t sleep and this happened #sorrynotsorry
“You’ve been fucking each other for how long now?”
“Four months, three weeks, and five days,” you answered Natasha’s question, taking another sip of your drink and running your hand across your face in an attempt to conceal your embarrassment.
“And neither of you are fucking anyone else?”
“No,” you said, pressing your lips together and regretting your existence. Natasha had caught you sneaking from his room early Thursday morning, your hair a mess and your shorts in your hand. “Neither I nor Piet are fucking anyone else, Nattie.”
“Yet no one knows and neither of you will admit you’re together?”
“He won’t admit we’re together,” you corrected her, pressing the palms of your hands against your closed eyes until spots of color danced on your lids.
“Who will not admit you are together?” Wanda’s melodious voice asked and your eyes shot open in horror as she sat down next to you. Your mouth opened and closed like a fish as you stared blankly at her, unable to lie but too terrified to admit the truth. “My brother?”
Your eyes grew wider and Wanda started giggling, happily accepting the drink that Natasha handed her. A weak squeal finally escaped your lips and you buried your face in your hands. “Shit, Wanda. I’m so sorry,” you mumbled.
“Why? My brother is the one being an ass, yes?”
“Yes,” Natasha answered for you and you cautiously lifted your eyes from your hands. “Your brother has been fucking our best friend for five months and won’t admit she’s his girlfriend.” You dropped your head to the table as she finished, heat coloring your cheeks as you nearly choked on your own embarrassment.
“Unfortunately, that does sound very much like my brother,” Wanda admitted.
“Well, your brother is a fucking asshole,” you muttered, sitting up and taking another sip of the whiskey Natasha had refilled while you were pouting. “Now, while I would love to continue this mortifying and uncomfortable conversation, I’m going to leave before it somehow gets worse.”
Natasha and Wanda’s laughter followed you as you walked away from the bar. You sighed, finishing your whiskey quickly and setting it on the tray of a passing waiter. “(Y/n)?” Dull recognition buzzed in the back of your mind as you turned toward the voice. A tall, dark skinned man stood in front of you, grinning widely. “I haven’t see you since we were recruits,” the man – Derek – said.
“Long time,” you agreed, tilting your head in greeting.
“I hear you’re working with The Avengers now?” he asked.
Nodding, you cleared your throat. “Almost six months now. Natasha liked my style.”
“Shame, it would have been nice to see more of you after graduation than we got to,” Derek replied, and you smiled at the memory of spending late nights studying with him and his boyfriend Spencer. “We could really use someone like you out at the international office.”
“That is too bad.” You stiffened as his voice reached your ears, your body sensing his presence next to you a moment later. “(Y/n) is much needed here. She will not be leaving our team any time soon.” His arm smoothly encircled your waist as he spoke – an action that could have been just friendly had the man the arm belong to not been moaning your name hours before.
“It’s good to see your skills are being appreciated,” Derek said, and you felt pride flicker in your chest as he eyes quickly scanned over Pietro. “Next time you have some time free, give us a call? I’d love to take you to lunch.”
The arm around you tightened, and you could feel jealousy rolling off Pietro, but you simply nodded at Derek. “I will. Lunch sounds fantastic.”
Derek turned away and you were in the dark, back pressed to a hard surface. “Who is he?” Pietro asked, his voice edged with possessive anger.
“Just a friend,” you answered simply, not below using Pietro’s ignorance of Derek’s disinterest to your advantage.
He stepped closer to you, bring his body flush against yours. His leg slid up between yours to press against you and your eyes fluttered closed. “Just a friend?”
“Nothing more,” you breathed, moaning as he shifted his weight to roll his hips against yours. Your hands found his waist, and you feel his body shaking as you held onto him.
Heavy breathing filled the small space and you bucked your hips into his. He groaned – the sound almost animalistic – and his lips hungrily found yours. The kiss was sloppy and desperate, full of jealous rage. You slipped your hands under his shirt and traced up his chest. His lips chased after yours when you pulled away and he pushed himself closer to you.
Pietro’s hands trailed down your side to the hem of your dress, playing with it for a moment before sliding underneath and feeling his way back up your thigh. “W-what are you doing?” you managed to gasp, reluctantly pulling your lips from his. Instead of answering, he began to kiss his way down your neck, sucking deep bruises into your skin as if to mark you. You whined at the sensation, your head lulling to the side as your thoughts scrambled to stay together. His fingers easing under the lace of your panties snapped you back to reality. “Piet,” you spoke again, breathless and almost incoherent. “What are you doing?”
“I am reminding you who you belong to,” he growled, pulling away from your neck to look down at you. His pupils were blown with lust, the blue almost completely missing from his eyes. He pressed his lips to yours in a bruising kiss and you moaned against him.
Resting your hands on his chest, you pushed him away carefully, though you kept your eyes closed and your forehead to his. “However much I am enjoying this fit of unwarranted jealousy, a utility closet isn’t the best place for sex.”
The words left your mouth and you felt a mattress against your back as Pietro hovered over you, the hand not holding him up mapping your skin beneath your dress. “Unwarranted?” he asked, his voice low.
Leaning up to him, you pressed kisses against his neck as you spoke, trying to sooth away his jealousy. “Piet,” you purred as his eyes dropped closed and he melted beneath your lips. You ran your hands across his chest. “Baby, you know you’re the only one I’m sleeping with.”
“Yet I am not the only one you are flirting with,” he said, jealousy and anger slowly leaking back into his voice. Your wrists were held in his hand and pinned above your head before you realized he had moved.
“And whose fault is that?” you asked, desperately struggling not to fall apart under his touch as his lips found your pulse again. “You won’t let me tell anyone we’re fucking.”
He growled against your skin and you knew you had hit a nerve. You felt your world shift and suddenly his very naked body was pressed against your very naked body. “By the time I am done with you, pisicuţă, no one will question who is fucking you.”
pisicuţă – kitten
The smell of freshly brewed coffee greeted you as you slowly shuffled into the kitchen the next morning, one of Pietro’s workout shirts hanging loosely from your body. “It sounded like you were having fun last night,” Natasha teased, winking at you over the rim of her mug.
“One way of putting it,” you answered, giggling as you made your way to the coffee pot and poured some into the mug she had already set out for you.
“I think I need to invest in therapy and some noise cancelling headphones,” she mumbled, and you laughed freely, rolling your eyes before sitting on the bar stool next to her.
A half dressed Pietro joined you in the kitchen, his grey sweats hanging low on his waist. “Eggs, prințesă?” he asked, winding his arms around you and kissing you, still half asleep.
prințesă – princess
“Please,” you replied, breathless when he pulled away. You smiled as you watched him open the refrigerator and blindly reach for the eggs.
Natasha’s eyes glistened with mischief and you glared at her in warning before she spoke. “I saw you talking to Derek last night. Are you going to see him again soon?”
You struggled to stifle your surprised laughter at her question and you felt warm arms wrap around your middle, pulling you into a warmer chest. “She will not,” Pietro answered for you. “I do not plan on sharing (Y/n).”
“Last I heard, Derek’s boyfriend wasn’t so keen on sharing him either, baby,” you said, twisting to kiss you boyfriend.
Summary: You’ve already been dating for a few months, but the team doesn’t know and they’re all getting sick of the flirting

Strong hands grabbed your waist and pulled you into a dark room. Your back was roughly shoved up against the wall and you moaned when kisses trailed down your neck. His warm fingers edged beneath the hem of your shirt and began to knead into your skin. “Piet,” you breathed, weakly pressing your hands against his shoulders. “Piet, we-we can’t.”
“And why not, prințesă?” he said, his lips still on your skin and his hands wandering farther up your torso to explore your body.
prințesă – princess
“B-because...” you tried. “Oh, Piet.” You struggled to speak as he pushed harder against you, knowing where to touch to weaken your resolve.
“Exactly,” he said, kissing you hungrily and sucking your bottom lip between his.

Tony was standing at the front of the room, waving his hands dramatically and pointing at the schematics on the screen. You had stopped paying attention after he had explained your part and were doodling absentmindedly on the file in front of you. It wouldn’t be a difficult mission, and you wouldn’t be anywhere near the actual fighting.
Your pen skittered across the table as Wanda shoved her elbow into your side and Steve cleared his throat. “Seriously, (Y/n)?” Tony said, rolling his eyes as he started down at you. “Do you actually have the attention span of a goldfish?”
“Wanda,” you whined, ignoring Tony. He threw his arms in the air in exasperation and mouthed something to Steve, who just shook his head. “You ruined my kitty.” Someone snorted and you looked across the table, smirking as Pietro collapsed in a fit of giggled. “Something funny, Speedy?”
“Oh my hell!” Tony shouted, beginning to sound like an irritated father. “He thinks everything you do is funny because he wants to fuck you! Please just get it over with so we can get back to work.”
Pietro’s eyes lit up with mischief and before Tony could redirect everyone’s attention back to the screen, Pietro was standing at the head of the table in his boxers. “This is no problem for me. For you, prințesă?”
You stared in surprise, eyes scanning over Pietro. “Slow down,” you said with a smile, eyes sparkling. “At least buy me dinner first.”
His grin grew and you were in his arms. “For you? I will always slow down.”

“GET THE FUCK BACK HERE!”
“Just leave it. We can finish the mission without them.”
Summary: After dancing around each other for months, Pietro tries to take the next step
Warnings: language
It was too early to be training.
Technically it was 7:23 and the rest of your team had been awake for nearly an hour.
It was still too early to be training.
“(Y/n),” Wanda called softly when you walked – stumbled – into the training room. “Good morning?”
“Well, it is morning, vrăjitoare,” you said, beginning to pile your hair onto your head and away from your eyes. She smiled as you used her language, knowing your mother had grown up in Sokovia. Although you only remembered the country through a hail of bullets, it had brought you closer to the twins.
vrăjitoare – witch
“Will it rain today?” she asked you, gazing out the glass wall at the gray clouds gathering in the sky.
“I can barely see 7:28,” you answered tiredly, sitting on the ground next to her to wait for her brother. Wanda simply nodded.
The twins seemed to be the two in the tower most comfortable with your abilities, many people more at ease around Banner than you. Having spent time with the younger Maximoff for months before you came along, no one was bothered by your ability to use what Tony loving referred to as ‘the force’. What set people on edge was your ability to see minutes, and sometimes hours, into the future – their future – but Wanda could shield her future from you, and Pietro moved too quickly for your mind to catch up.
“You’d think someone so fast wouldn’t always be so late,” you said, letting your eyes drift closed.
“I am not that late,” Pietro’s voice surprised you, something else only the twins were able to do. “In fact, I do not think I am late at all.”
“Shut up, Maximoff,” you said, holding a hand out and letting him pull you to your feet. He just smirked, squeezing your fingers before dropping them and walking away with a wink, setting your heart racing. “Has he always been such an annoying son of a bi – gun?” you corrected yourself, remembering the swear jar Tony had drunkenly bought Steve the week before.
“He is the son of our mother,” Wanda replied with confusion.
“Never mind, vrăjitoare,” you said, smiling at her. Although you were younger than the twins, their naivety sometimes made it difficult to remember. Clint would often send in search of your ‘little sister’ when she was late to training.
“(Y/n),” Pietro called, knocking one of the large sparring mats onto the ground. “Steve wants us to spar because you do not see my fighting.”
“We sparred yesterday, Piet,” you complained, but compliantly walked towards the mat.
“And we will spar today. You can not always depend on your... farmece in a fight,” he said, slipping back into Sokovian as he struggled to explain your powers in English. “What happens when you meet someone like me?”
farmece – magic
“There isn’t anyone like you, Piet,” you said, conceding defeat and stepping onto the mat across from him.
“Nor you, înger.” You blushed, filing away his words to ask Wanda later. He seemed ready to continue speaking when his eyes settled on something behind you. It had been weeks since you’d pinned Pietro to the mat and you launched yourself toward him immediately, taking the advantage you knew wouldn’t last long. Your arms wrapped around his legs, knocking him to the ground beneath you, and you held his arms by his sides.
înger – angel
You opened your mouth to tease him when Wanda’s voice cut you short. “Steve needs Vision and I in the conference room. I will return later.” Pietro’s eyes clouded over and you sighed, standing and offering him a hand.
“I do not trust the android,” he growled, settling in across from you again.
“He’s saved our lives, Piet,” you started, pausing to dodge his fist before continuing. “Besides, he makes Wanda laugh. She’s always smiling when he’s around,” you said, throwing a punch to distract him and swinging your foot into his ankle to trip him. “You’re just overprotective.”
“I am not overprotective, înger, I am the right protective!” He sighed as you scoffed, your next punch missing him. “Maybe a little. Just because I care, yes?” Pietro easily moved out of the path of your kick. “Like when the S.H.I.E.L.D. trainer tries to touch you.”
Ducking under his arm, you slowly processed his words and stumbled over your feet. Pietro didn’t hesitate to kick out, catching your foot with his. You reached toward him as you fell, your fingers managing to wrap around his wrist, and pulled him down with you. Shifting your weight to your shoulders, you pushed yourself back to your feet, standing still long enough to catch your breath and collect your thoughts.
Pietro watched the unfocused look in your eyes for a moment before grabbing your ankle, pulling you back down to the mat and rolling on top of you. He sat on your hips, a leg on either side of your body, and held your hands above your head. “Are you tired, prințesă?” he asked. “You let me pin you so easy.”
prințesă – princess
“Uh,” you stammered, aware of his electric stare watching you and his chest pressed to yours.
“Prințesă?” he asked, his voice growing quiet as his eyes flicked to your lips. “Are you okay?”
“Perfect,” you whispered. His eyes sparkled when you answered and dully hear someone clear their throat.
“I don’t think this is what Capsicle had in mind when he suggested early morning training for you two,” Natasha’s voice cut through the room. You felt heat rise in your cheeks and you dropped your eyes from Pietro’s, wiggling your hands enough to loosen his hold. He crawled off you slowly before grabbing your waist, picking you up, and setting you on your feet. His eyes met yours for a moment before he disappeared in a blur.
“What the all living hell, Nat? You couldn’t have waited thirty damn seconds?” you asked, Steve’s jar forgetting in your irritation.
“I need you to move your wash,” she said with a smile.
“Screw you Romanoff,” you mumbled as you followed your closest friend to the common laundry room. Your abilities had never seemed to bother Natasha. “Speaking of screwing, how’s Banner?”
“Why the hell doesn’t Tony just buy a second machine? It’s not like he can’t afford the damn thing.”
“Language!” Steve’s voice drifted to you from down the hall. “That’ll be fifty cents.”
“Why did Tony buy him that da – stupid jar?” Natasha asked as you pulled the last of your clothes from the dryer.
“Why did you avoid my question, Nat?” you asked, beginning to move your wet laundry from the washer.
“Why don’t you tell me about wonder boy instead?”
“Still mad, Nat,” you said. At the mention of Pietro your mind instinctively reached out, searching for the older twin and finding him back in the training room you’d just left. Anger radiated from his thoughts as he ran around the track.
“It’s not my fault you and Quickie have enough sexual tension to power downtown New York for a week. You’ve been dancing around each other for six months! Tony is taking bets from the entire tower on when you two finally screw each other,” Natasha said, rolling her eyes when your cheeks flushed and you ran your hip into the dryer.
“Well, Tony can go screw himself...” you grumbled, hiding your face in the warm pile of shirts and jeans. Natasha’s laugh bounced through the room and you groaned, pulling your face from the clothes to glare at her. “I’m leaving now,” you said, wrapping your arms around the pile and lifting it up.
“Can you even see over all those?”
“I’m leaving,” you sang over your shoulder, walking away from the redhead and towards your room. “F.R.I.D.A.Y., could you open my door please?” Before you could hear her answer, something very fast and very solid collided with you, knocking you to the ground. You felt arms wrap around you and you tensed, preparing for a painful landing that never happened.
“I am so sorry.” You could hear the panic in his voice, his accent growing thicker. “Are you alright, prințesă?”
“I’m fine, Speedy,” you said as you finally opened your eyes to look down at Pietro. He had spun as you’d fallen, landing beneath you. “Something soft broke my fall.”
“I am glad,” he said, eyes wandering to your lips for a moment. The glance was enough, and you were suddenly hyperaware of your entire body pressed to his, your hands trapped between your chests. His arms were still around your waist, although his hold had loosened, and you felt his fingers spread across your back.
The spark from earlier returned to his eyes and he began to lean up to you. A voice broke the silence. “Are you okay? Why are you on the ground? Did the idiot run into you again?”
Wanda.
Wanda.
You scrambled urgently off Pietro, your checked hot. Not only had been caught on top of the older Maximoff, but you’d been caught by the younger Maximoff. Frantically gathering your clothes, you vaguely realized the twins were speaking to each other in rapid Sokovian.
“Ce faci?”
Ce faci – What are you doing?
“Am crezut că au fost difuzate!”
Am crezut că au fost difuzate – I thought you were running
“A trebuit să vorbesc cu ea.”
A trebuit să vorbesc cu ea – I had to speak to her
“Gândurile tale au absolut nimic de-a face vorbesc...”
Gândurile tale au absolut nimic de-a face vorbesc – Your thoughts have absolutely nothing to do with talking
Hoping the twins were too involved in their – apparently heated – conversation to notice, you ducked into your room, closing the door and collapsing onto the bed. “Shit.” You ran your hands over your face and through your hair, feeling the warmth on your cheeks from the blush that still hadn’t faded. “That boy is going to be the death of me.”
After twenty-three minutes of self pity, a knock echoed around the room and you heard the knob turn. Unwilling, or unable, to face Pietro yet, you rolled on your bed, burying your face in your pillow.
“(Y/n)?” Wanda’s quiet voice asked as the door closed and your cheeks began to burn again.
“Wanda,” you said, sitting up and forcing the red from your face before you turned to her.
“Why are you upset? Did my stupid brother say something to you?” she asked. It hadn’t taken long to notice the feelings you and her brother shared. Everyone had noticed. She’d spent the past months pushing you toward each other, desperately trying to force you both past the playful flirting. Just the week before she’d cornered you and Pietro and given your non-existent relationship her blessing. Although you didn’t always approve of her methods, you trusted Wanda completely.
“He was so upset when you went off with Vision because he has trust issues that he really should see someone about and I told him to stop being overly protective because Vision makes you laugh and he said he couldn’t not worry because he cares too much and he said something about some agent trying to touch me and I couldn’t focus on the fight and then he was on top of me and I’m sure he almost kissed me,” you said, running out of breath and falling back onto your pillows. “But for all I know, I’m finally going crazy from exhaustion and just imaging things.”
Wanda’s musical laughter filled your room. “You are not imaging. He is angry it has not happened. His thoughts are so loud and hard to ignore.”
“Oh,” was all you managed to say, not trusting your voice.
“He has thought about little else for months.” You felt your cheeks grow red again and you stayed silent. “I am glad my idiot brother did not say anything to upset you. I must go help Vision again though. Will you walk with me?”
“For a bit, vrăjitoare,” you said, standing and following her out the door. “Speaking of Vision...” you trailed off, allowing the question to hang unasked.
“You are right,” she answered, her tone surprisingly casual. “He does make me laugh.” You smiled at Wanda, a dreamy look in her eyes.
“If he screws this up, your brother isn’t the only one ready to kick his ass.”
Wanda giggled as your threat and rested her hand on your arm. “And if my brother screws this up, I promise the same.”
You smirked. “If your brother screws this up, I’ll kick his ass myself.” This time it was Vision’s laughter that reached your ears, and Wanda’s eyes lit up. “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” you whispered in her ear, watching her blush before turning around and walking toward the laundry room, knowing you’d arrive seconds after the dryer finished its cycle.
What you didn’t see until you walked in was the quarter sized spider atop the washer.
You knew the fear was irrational, you faced death nearly every day, yet you found yourself cowering on the folding table. Pietro! You screamed, reaching out and grabbing onto his consciousness. Help! Laundry room! Now! It was only seconds before the silver haired man was at your side, worry etched into his features.
“(Y/n)? What is wrong?” His eyes darted frantically around the room, searching for whatever had threatened you.
“Kill it. Please,” you whimpered, eyes locked on the creature.
Pietro visibly relaxed, his voice filling with humor as he spoke. “The spider, (Y/n)? You are afraid of such a small thing?”
“Please... Pietro...” Your voice cracked, but you were too afraid to be embarrassed. Your voice seemed small and he realized you were shaking, eyes wild. You were terrified.
Pietro stepped forward immediately, grabbing a tissue from the box by your side. He pinched the spider inside and tossed it into the trash. “You are all right, (Y/n),” he said, walking over to the table you still stood on, although your shaking had subsided.
“It’s gone?” you asked, voice still unsteady.
“It is gone, yes,” he repeated. He put his hands gently on your waist and your eyes snapped down to him, the contact calming you. “May I help you off the table?” You nodded and he lifted you down, pulling you into his hold. “I am sorry that I laughed, prințesă,” he said, his hands running up and down your arms before wrapping around you again.
The same spark was there, his eyes flickering rapidly between your lips and eyes. He leaned forward, his lips almost brushing yours, when a voice from outside the door broke the spell.
“Has anyone seen Natasha? She owes me fifty cents!” Steve said as he stepped into the room.
You dropped your head against Pietro’s shoulder, letting out a shaky breath you hadn’t known you were holding. His fingers tightened on your waist for a moment before his hands fell to his sides. He pressed a kiss into your hair and was gone.
“She’s probably with Bruce, Steve,” you said, the super soldier still standing in the doorway with a knowing smirk.
“Was I interrupting something?” he asked innocently, only betrayed by his expression.
“No,” you said too quickly. “Bye, Steve,” you continued, hurriedly gathering your clothes from the dryer and escaping back to your room, hearing Steve’s laughter follow you. “F.R.I.D.A.Y., please open my door.”
“Right away, Ms. (Y/n).” The doorway opened as you reached it and you kicked it closed behind you, dropping the clothes onto the pile already on the ground.
He had been so close to you. You ran your hands through your hair. The soft kiss he’d left on your forehead had been enough to turn your legs to jelly, they were sill unsteady. His cologne still lingered in your hair.
Fucking Captain cock block.
Shuffle my music, F.R.I.D.A.Y.,” you said, absentmindedly lifting a shirt from the pile and walking it to your closet. “As loud as Stark will let you.” You hoped the music would drown out your Pietro filled thoughts. At the moment, thinking was the last thing you wanted, or needed, to do.
Seven and a half songs, twenty-nine minutes, and a pile of clothes later, you were dancing around your room and singing, Pietro almost forgotten. “(Y/n)?” Natasha asked from the doorway. “You seem irrationally happy. Quickie finally make a move?”
Groaning in frustration at her question, your thoughts filled with Pietro again and you collapsed onto your bed. F.R.I.D.A.Y. automatically turned the music down. “He was about to and Wanda may have sort of caught me on top of her brother.”
“What?” Natasha asked slowly, her voice a mixture of disbelief, surprise, and amusement.
“He ran into me! And then he was just so close and I couldn’t think and Wanda popped up out of nowhere...” you trailed to a close, knowing you’d embarrass yourself if you kept talking. His eyes had been full of hunger. You’d been mesmerized.
“Well, I bought some of that fancy tea you like as an apology. Sounds like you need it.” Although you could tell she was fighting laughter, you smiled gratefully and rushed from the room. Fresh tea and your favorite mug sounded perfect.
As you headed for the kitchen, your mind wandered to Pietro, reaching out to his naturally. Recently you found yourself searching for him more often than not, almost involuntarily. You never listened to his thoughts, just assured yourself he was near you and safe.
You found Pietro in his room, the same anger you’d felt earlier filling his thoughts. Stepping off the elevator, you pulled your mind tentatively from his, not wanting to break the connection, but needing to focus on your steps. Walking into the kitchen, you looked around in surprise, the mug Tony had gifted you upon moving in no longer by the toaster.
Fucking Pietro.
The Sokovian seemed to love hiding your mug in places you couldn’t reach and teasing you while you struggled, unwilling to waste any energy on something so domestic. Sighing in frustration, you began to wander through the kitchen and open cupboards, searching for your mug. It took longer than you expected, but you finally spotted it on the top shelf of Thor’s pop-tart cupboard and six inches out of your reach. Standing on your toes, you stretched your fingers.
You managed to brush the mug, shifting it dangerously closer to the edge. “I hate you, Pietro,” you mumbled under your breath. A warm chest pressed to your back and Pietro overwhelmed your senses.
“You don’t mean that, prințesă.” His fingers dragged along your arm as he reached up to grab your mug. “You are so small, înger,” he whispered in your ear, his breath warm on your neck. His free hand wrapped around your waist and pulled you softly into his chest.
“Is–Is that a bad thing?” you asked, turning in his hold until you could look up at him.
He was staring at your lips, no longer trying, or able, to mask his intension. “Definitely not, prințesă.” His hand dropped from your mug and rested on your neck, his fingers tangling in your hair. Footsteps echoed around the kitchen and you could see the fire in Pietro’s eyes, his arms tightening on your waist and pulling you closer to him.
“Just the two I’m looking for!” Either Tony hadn’t noticed you pressed to Pietro’s chest, or he’d decided to ignore it. “Emergency Avenger meeting, right here, in, like, twenty seconds.”
Pietro’s eyes flashed again, but he reluctantly let go of you, his fingers running gently across your cheek before dropping to his sides. As the rest of the team shuffled in, he took a small step away from you, eyes never leaving your lips. Forcing yourself to take a halting breath, you walked unsteadily to the kitchen island, taking your place beside Wanda at the corner.
Staying where he was a moment longer, Pietro’s hands shook visibly. You watched his chest rise and fall stunningly slow before he stalked over to the team, standing across the counter from you. “I’ve brought you all here today...” Tony began with a smirk. “...to discuss Clint.”
As your senses finally cleared themselves of Pietro, you realized the purple clad hawk wasn’t in his normal spot next to the Maximoff. Instead, Steve and Bruce stood on either side of the white haired racer. You found yourself avoiding Pietro’s eyes as Tony spoke, hoping to focus on the conversation. “Clint is missing his kids and I think we should sneak them – and Laura – up for a few days.”
“Perfect!” Steve burst out, almost cutting Tony short in his excitement. “We can set up shifts to watch the kids and we’ll have to take them to the park on Saturday because there’s that...” You had looked to Steve when he’d begun to speak, but now his words faded as you risked a glance at the man standing next to him.
The man who was already watching you. Pietro’s blue eyes were still fiery, but the anger you’d seen after Tony’s entrance was replaced with lust as they locked onto your lips. You dropped your eyes to the table, blushing under his gaze as ghosts of his touches echoed over your skin. Twirling your thumbs, you tried to think of anything except the speedster standing across from you, desperate to forget the lingering feeling of his fingers on your cheeks.
“I agree with the Capsicle,” Tony was saying when movement drew your eyes from your twirling thumbs. Pietro had left his spot and was walking around the counter at a surprisingly human pace. His eyes caught yours and a smile crossed his face before he reached your side. A hand wound through your hair and pulled you against his chest, his lips pressing hungrily to yours.
Your mind stuttered to a halt along with Tony’s words and your awareness of everything outside of Pietro disappeared, overwhelmed by him. His cologne just strong enough to smell. His lips fierce against yours. His hands pressing into the small of your back.
He tasted like cinnamon.
Pietro reluctantly pulled away from you, his arms around your waist the only thing keeping you standing. He left his forehead against yours as he spoke. “Tony is right. The old man denies it, but he misses them very much. Bringing them here would make him very happy.”
“Uh, y-yeah, that, uhm, that’s what I-I...”
“My brother is right,” Wanda cut Tony’s stammering short. She was the only one capable of speaking, everyone’s eyes locked on you and Pietro – still holding each other, eyes closed and foreheads together. “At times his sadness is impossible to ignore.”
“It’s, uh, it’s settled then,” Tony managed. No sooner had he spoken than you felt Pietro lift your feet from the ground and run.
Moments later your back was pressed against a closed door, your legs around Pietro’s waist and his lips dragging down your neck and he sucked small marks onto your skin. You moaned his name and let your head fall to the side, fingernails dragging along his arms. “You didn’t see that coming?” he asked quietly, hoping to see you smile as he pulled away hesitantly.
