so lately i’ve been thinking a lot about writing, reading a lot of rookie + works my friends have generously shared with me + #emma ’s blog (ty!!!), the first time my poem was recognized locally. and here i am lying down on my bedroom floor staring at my shelf of journals + scrap(ish)books i’ve kept over the years + seeing how messy it is + how unwilling i am to organize it. so i’ve decided to maybe write a little bit here

besides, i’ve come to realize a phone is a much more comfortable + discreet way of noting thoughts down than pen + paper (maybe not as fulfilling??)

things are getting a little bit gloomier (maybe the weather and maybe not so much today) + rougher, with my daily compulsions to bolt out the door + hide from absolutely everything becoming stronger and more frequent, so i’ll probably have more to write about. plus my notes app in my phone is getting very very packed and harder to organize responsibilities + birthdates + addresses etc etc etc

i have also become more acknowledging of my struggle with commitment as well + am really hoping to see if committing to writing at least one of these a day may change anything

idk maybe this is a one-night thing + too big of a load to put on one small task ??

however, i do fear that the people i very much know + see frequently are on here + will have access to more of myself than i may be comfortable with,, but i’ll adjust to that sooner or later (hopefully)
