So I'm making some #writingthermometers choices here. Nano is upon us and there are two projects -- one a past Nano -- that haven't moved for a long time. The pen was steeping into my dry erase wall, so I've decided to repurpose their spots for hopefully some quick turn around guys. Calligrapher2: Initiate is my 2021 nano project (god help me) and Joshua 2 is a writing/art project I'm hoping to finish over winter. A #writingthermometers update! Ive crossed the 70k mark on Evilbook FOR REAL this time and added another 1k to Spellcaster which is officially renamed to Knotcaster. Other renames are Novitiate to Postulate and Shapecaster2 is on hold so ive replaced it on the board with my Mermaid-themed Chapter book i hope to have out for 2022. Another #writingthermometers update before i finish off Dog Park 3 this weekend. Im seriously considering erasing #lichgirl and #spacepostal to free space for other projects since its been so long since I updated them... but replacing them with other things i dont have time to write is kind of a lateral move? Anyway #knotcaster is almost done so that will also free up a temp. Another #writingthermometers update this week because i hit "the end" on Knotcaster! This is the first time the thermometer board has experienced this so i wanted to show off what im planning to do with it next. Knotcasters column is full and ive switched the measurement from word count to chapter number. As i revise the green will rise. When it hits the top its time for beta readers. New #writingthermometers post! Progress on Dog Park has been great so far. Keep in mind those are illustrated pages not thousands of words. #knotcaster got an adjusted wordcount goal, so it looks like it took a hit but really it took a height har har. #evilbook lost a chunk of work to revision but no progress. Another #writingthermometers update! I promised there'd be more! Mermaid, #knotcaster , and #evilbook have all gone up! I think evilbook is going to need another goal adjustment... it def wont be done in 7k. Knotcaster might too, we will see how it goes. Im getting impatient to finish it. Well #writingcommunity its been a long time since we checked in with the #writingthermometers . This is because ive been stuck in #evilbook 's muddy middles for literal months. Those that go back to check the last thermometer wall picture will see i still havent gotten the book up to where it was before i did the ole purge and rewrite do-si-do, but rest assured the words that are there have been hard fought.
