I just found that post and wow it just sounds like someone who is dead set on nitpicking anything to stay biased against Griffith. Even the fact that Griffith made a woman his 2nd in command somehow makes him a misogynist. Wow.

Someone linked me to the post because the wanted to know what I thought and honestly I think my initial reaction was... to wonder if they were actually serious or if they were making some kind of joke.  The thing is, I actually do believe in differences of interpretation and the validity of different perspectives - I don't really believe any two people ever have the EXACT same interpretation anyway so even if I don't 'get it' on a personal level, I can generally understand where someone's coming from or at least accept that theyre coming from that place.

Even so, I do believe interpretations should be grounded in canon rather than just kind of manufactured from one's personal perspective and headcanon- you should be able to point to the series and say "here's the part where this is implied" rather than just going off of your own personal logic. 

That's not the most coherent point I've ever made, but what I mean is, "Griffith cares about the Hawks who died for him because he's pointedly shown to be affected by the death of that little boy, because he ultimately prostitutes himself to keep fatalities down, and because his eclipse vision involves him having a breakdown when faced with the reality of the deaths he's caused, and because he actually wouldn't have been able to sacrifice them if he didn't love them"... is a much stronger and more convincing argument than "Griffith must have cared because there's no way you can lead soldiers and not care about them."  The former is grounded in canon and the latter is just how one person thinks people work based on their own experience/perspective.  But that's only definitive or especially relevant if they're the one writing the story, and only to a limited degree even then.

Point being, that post was WAY too much of the latter for me.  There's just no actual canonical evidence that Griffith was thinking anything like that at all.

Thank you. Yes. Holy frozen hell. I mean, it's even OBVIOUS that's what Miura's intentions were, but I guess that doesn't matter, people will see anything they want in Griffith's every little action.

I would love to have some wine.  But, I'm taking Ibuprofen, which fucks with my stomach and I think it could possibly cause some liver damage if I drink too much.

In the meantime I've got some M/M and F/F eroge that I'm gonna play until I can function.  And if my background check goes through for the teaching job...I don't even have to leave my trusty armchair to teach anyone, just a laptop and a headset.  This week will be as uterus friendly as possible.

But anyway, totally worth it IMO.  I have a fairly large chance of never having a period for 5 years after my body gets used to this thing.  That would just make me resplendent with frothing joy.

You know love, you might want to apply for some of these types of jobs.  People paying you to surf the web all day.  Lionbridge, Leapforce, Appen are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.  For some you might need a degree, but not for all of them I don't think.

I’m the same way. Especially with video games. When I first started ME, I wouldn’t bathe for like, 4 or 5 days….

Yeah, when ME3 came out, it was my spring break.  I literally didn't do anything that week other than play.  And eat.  Sleep is for the weak.

Your snake likes watching TV? That’s adorable. Pugsie likes watching me play video games.

Yeah, she loves TV.  And actually my old roommate had a snake that liked to watch TV as well.  I miss him, he was so chill, he'd just hang out on you or play in your hair.  My snake is a busybody so I always have to be watching her so she doesn't get loose.

My male cat likes video games.  Assassin's Creed and Okami are his favorites.  He'll bat at the characters on the screen.
