I met you in the darkness of my soul , in hidden corners and broken screams . I held close to what was left of me , but you let out your hand raising me from my own perdition ; I grabbed on with bloody hands , tear stained eyes and a stitched smile . You soon left me as I became whole , you replaced the empty parts with the broken pieces of you shattered by those around you but never did you complain cause all you wanted was to see the light glimmer Atleast for once from my eyes . As soon as the light began to shine thru my cracks you ran away as I saw the glimmer of brown in your eyes , your wings tucked in as you walked away from my light - what was it about the light that scared you? I couldn't seem to figure what was so wrong you felt about going back into the light and maybe because you didn't want to reveal the secrets within your eyes ; And the secret screams written into your bones. I still love you , oh yes I always have ; So to save me for one last time you embedded a scar left of your name so that I may remember the one who saved my heart , so please always remember with the roads you walk , the hearts you save - remember I'll be waiting on the ledge once more just to see your face once again .
