She didn’t know why she felt disappointed all of a sudden, she didn’t expect much, but she had hoped that he would teach her a little more about dancing. Don't get me wrong, Robert DeNiro is a great actor. In my opinion, probably one of the finest in movie history. But lately, he's been slacking off for quite a while. How can you go from Taxi Driver to Little Fockers?

The wrong step: The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle

It's understandable to start making comedies like Meet the Parents or Analyse This, because following dramas one after another can drain your energy, but at least choose them right!

De Niro had absolutely no excuses to star in such an abominable movie, because he produced it! At least we know that he lost a few millions by making this turd, which is a good thing. But it was the start of a new career for him, during which he refused to work with Martin Scorsese, turned down a few great scripts and made stuff like Showtime or Hide and Seek instead.

At this point, Robert De Niro became a bit lazy and probably more interessed in the paycheck than the actual movie.

If Robert De Niro heads the jury of the Cannes Film Festival this year, it's certainly not because of his recent contributions to cinema. He'll always be a legend, that's for sure, but one with a slightly tarnished filmography.
