I was first told about Gundam when in Colorado Springs by one of my pizzeria staff. It's amazing the ability to connect to cultures via books and media worldwide. A different worker there gave me my first Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.. I'm not sure what I gave them. Hopefully insight, love and something worth striving for. In this book, the author meets the creator of #gundam and he explains an incredible #philosophy #wrongaboutjapan by #petercarey taught me a little more of the #japanese psyche. Before I can go forward I must fill you in on the goings on.. Last week I read this wonderful book called #wrongaboutjapan by #petercarey and #aussie author who took his son to Japan. This man embodied the collective assumptions of Aussies abroad. He through his son, was able to discover some #beautiful qualities in the #culture of #japan The book made me cry 3 times..!
