"Old polish recipes?" She couldn't imagine him baking, but she kept that thought to herself, allowing only a subtle smile to flicker over her glossy vinyl lips. "Do tell me more officer. Which one is your favourite?"

@wrongarmofthelaw sent: ⚰️ Spend the night in a cemetery (teen Sammy probably told Ginger she could see and hear ghosts and got roped into proving it XD)
Ginger found a spot by a tree, dropping her bag to the ground as she sat. Legs were stretched in front of her, bent slightly at the knees so her booted feet rested flat against the grass. Her camera hung from her neck, resting against her chest, hands on her thighs. "So how will I know you're not making it up? Can they make themselves visible to other people? Can I capture them on film?"

“Well, Matthew, I’d say you’re doing a good job already, protecting women from a group of dangerous men is a good man in my book.”
Before she goes on, her dainty hand reaches down her breast pocket from her dress and sneaks out a cigarette. Taking out her own lighter, Elaine flicks it open to bring the flame to the end of the stick, and then inhaling the nicotine. Before pulling it out from her red stained lips, blowing out the cloud of smoke.
“Your wife is a very lucky woman.”
Sammy carefully guided her little brother along, trying to avoid pulling him. He had only been walking for what seemed like a short while and when he tried to go faster, he sometimes tripped. Sammy felt a little frustrated that her brother was only able to go slow, worrying that all the places along their trick or treat route would run out of candy and other goodies before they could get to them. She sighed, looking around to try to see what everyone else was getting. A small distance away, she spotted a familiar burlap covered face. She waved to Sam, hoping he could see her.
Sam appeared to blink when waved too, the Halloween Demon appeared to be doing his job in watching the children around this time of year, but appeared to wave to the other with a calm demeanor, he did not mind doing so as she was a kind human

Sammi-Jo's had taken all the aspirin she had, without basically any break in between, before admitting she needed a doctor. Surely, there must be something she could do that would just heal the hand on its own. And yet, quicker than she expected, the wound started blistering, as if she had put her hand on the stove, and none of the burn cream made it slow down.
It seemed immensely stupid that she could have fire magic but still get burned. The rule seemed to be that if it came from her hand it was fine, but if she touched anything burning, even something she set on fire, her hand burned too.
She didn't have money for a real doctor. All her 7/11 job really did was fund her mountain dew habit. But this had to be dealt with.
So, when a customer had half-mentioned a cheap doctor, here she was, in what she supposed was a waiting room but for some reason felt very different.
"Uh, hi, hello?" she called out. "I have an appointment at 5."

Eva is not particularly swayed by her emotions, she believes it’ll only complicate matters in her line of work and she just gets on with the job. She knows evil entities reside in this world but she is not influenced by those forces, she’s able to think for herself. She won’t hesitate if she thinks someone is in danger and they desperately need her help, if she can help, she will.
how many times have you done that? (from Fiona)
The smiles she give from the other side of the fence is down-right cheeky. “More times than I can count on all my limbs.” The fence door swings open as she pops her head out. Looking somewhat ridiculous considering she was almost as tall as the fence.
“Not very secure to be honest.”

A cocky laugh left the girls lips hiding beneath the mask. Her shoulders lowered, and her ankles crossed as if she were an innocent little girl looking up at her master. She liked a challenge. It thrilled her. Though she had put herself in danger many times, she knew it would take death to actually stop her.
" And you've drawn mine, " she added to his speech, her hands clasped behind her back. " Who starts a rumor about a zombie cop in a big city? " She questioned in a mocking tone, finishing her sentence with a laugh. The rumors were just that. Rumors. Unbelievable to her, and for that he deserved his punishment.
" Come into the light big boy, I wanna see your handsome face, " she urged, prepared to strike or flee if he tried anything more. " I think I'll make you last, " she murmured.
