And so it begins – Women Riders World Relay

The dream that was born in August of last year became a reality on February 27, 2019. Hayley Bell started both the idea for a round-the-world relay ride for women motorcyclists, and the ride itself at John O’Groats Scotland in the UK that day.

Dozens of riders took turns carrying the baton that will hopefully make its way through more than 80 countries over the next year before it makes its way…

Stoked that I got to meet up with two different groups of women riders on the road! • The first ever all female Motorcycle tour in Ecuador, led by @eglegerai . And secondly, the women from the Women Riders World Relay (@womenridersworldrelay ) as we celebrated the baton’s passing through Quito. • The worldwide motorcycle relay is passing through some 100 countries, encouraging and connecting women in motorsports as they pass the baton country to country, woman to woman. • Both meetups were thanks to the amazing team at Ecuador Freedom @ecuador_freedom_bike_rental .
