About how much of Peepers personality would you say was retained when you shifted him into Wander's role?
When I first made WanderShift I didn’t know it wasn’t really the best idea to change personalities, so… Honestly? It probably would’ve changed a bit.
However, now that I know that personality swaps aren’t a good idea, I’d say Peepers should be about the same, but a lot less stressed. Peepers’ and Hater’s dynamic is not that scary boss and his lackey relationship, but more of that two best friends dynamic from season 2. Just take that, and make it their entire relationship for WanderShift. Peepers wouldn’t feel so stressed out because of his friend like he would a scary, ill-tempered boss. Is Hater still rotten? Yes, of course, but not in that “greatest evildoer in the galaxy” sense.
Forgive me for the rambling, but short answer. In the original idea, yes. In my current vision, not exactly. Just think of WS!Peepers as a more comfortable, less-stressed Peepers as opposed to the canon Peepers due to his change in relationship with Hater to a friendlier, more casual one.
