How did you come up with all the ocs in your sv/bofuri/cheating men must die crossover?

Oh the system agent team my beloved~

Those babies took some time to develop <3 I spent a good while brainstorming and for a long time only Myra was fully fleshed out. Tsun Kai was second, which I’m sure you can guess from the order of their debut chapters, but the next agent that will be appearing is actually one of the last ones I worked on out of the five teammate OCs. I’m excited to introduce them all.

Speaking of world state: refresh, the next chapter of that is in the works, and should be posted sometime within the next month! I’m excited for you all to meet my next child~

Summary: “Something goes wrong with the plant body contingency plan, and Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua both end up perishing. However, it appears that the System isn’t finished with them, yet. And with their new promotions, this life they find themselves in seems more like a well-deserved vacation. Back in their previous world, the people who knew them are still in mourning. And some of them are not willing to let them go.”

This is Shang Qinghua in his new outfit for his new world!  He’s working on various system pop up screens (please imagine all kinds of data, graphs, and writing on the screens i am tired). The shark in the background is Shang Lei’s (SHQ’s OG name) System’s avatar.

 I super like this fic; the hurt/comfort angle of Shang Qinghua and Shen Yuan recovering from their first transmigration is precisely my jam! Please, go check it out! (╯°o°)ᕗ

Excerpt:

“Wait, no. We’re getting off topic. Listen, and please don’t feel offended, but you have to keep your system away from the boys.”

Tsun Kai’s amusement gently absconds from their expression, and they tilt their head in a neutral fashion. “Why’s that?”

Wringing her hands, Myra glances nervously at her Zouchan.

“Shen Yuan and Shang Lei… this is only their second mission. Before this, their tutorial world…. Did you hear the news about what happened to Agent Zero’s replacement?”

Tsun Kai goes still, and they look startled, while Calcifer gives a rather loud, crackling pop.

“Their tutorial was an S-ranked world, due to a glitch in the mother system,” they slowly summarize. They turn a stunned look toward her. “Do you mean…?”

Excerpt:

Soft tapping sounds echo in the space, growing closer with every beat of his heart. They’re a steady rhythm, only off in that every other beat is a different cadence from the other — one is tinny and clear, the other slightly muffled. Footsteps that are unfamiliar.

His aching stomach suddenly in his throat, Shang Lei squeezes his eyes closed and turns to hide his face in the fur. With each rapid, defeating pound of his heart, the footsteps grow closer and closer, until they come to a quiet and almost unobtrusive stop right in front of him.

Against his wishes, a hand is on his shoulder, touching him, and he flinches away before it can shake him ‘awake’.

The stranger standing over him blinks as he tears his face out of the fur hood, blinking the spots away from his vision. Shang Lei eyes their outstretched hand blankly, and wishes that they’d found Shen Yuan or Myra instead of him.

Can we suggest OCs for wsr?

If you mean for the system agents, all the characters for that have already been planned out entirely, so no.

But if you do happen to have a system agent OC you’ve dreamt up while reading world state: reset, I would LOVE to hear about them! I’ve actually had a few people talk to me about theirs already and it’s amazing to meet all the OCs.

And hey, I might end up actually needing an extra system agent character somewhere down the line 👀 who knows
