“I wouldn’t wanna piss anyone off overstepping any precious rules, would I?”
sentence meme — accepting !!
kiha is still questioning if this is actually going to be a good idea. once upon a time he prided himself that he wasn't the kind of person who did things to irk people, would never flirt with someone just to make a significant other jealous. he was never the type to indulge into those sort of things, never felt comfortable in using people like that and to feed into expectations that he wasn’t really thinking about meeting — and he's reminded of haeni for a moment, even if a part of him knows that her situation and marco's are completely different.
to be fair, the main vocalist argues that it isn’t like he’s going to pretend that he’s dating marco and moreover miles isn’t even his boyfriend so this isn’t like some petty vengence towards his childhood friend because he’s acting weird, going out of his way to ignore kiha even more than during their practice room fight unless kiha was being friendly with someone else. so all of this, getting closer to marco, isn’t about making miles jealous— it’s just that kiha needs a way to get the crescent maknae’s attention on him and it’s just convenient that marco is someone that kiha was planning on getting closer to anyway because he’s in the same group as his childhood friend. it’s just convenient that kiha wants to be friends with him to begin with so it isn’t like the phoenix member is going to abandon him when miles gets over himself and stops ignoring kiha like he’s now.
even though kiha is approaching marco with some ulterior motives, he isn’t completely lying when he says that he wants to be friends, to get closer to each other and well— if kiha ends up being a little affectionate with marco where miles can see them then it’s just how kiha naturally is, miles should know that at this point.
“who i end up being friends or not isn’t something that miles has a say in.” kiha huffs, perhaps a little too defensive. besides, unless someone was actually on their way to come at kiha, the youngest i crescent never really minded much of who was friends with the main vocalist anyway and he’s sure that marco doesn’t fall into that category. “besides you two are bandmates.” he points out. “shouldn’t he be happy that we’re getting along?”

Going out for lunch with such an esteemed senior should have been an enjoyable moment. And, really, by all accounts it was. The fact that they had both managed to agree upon a place to dine at without Subin sticking his nose up was a miracle in itself. But it wouldn’t be an outing with Subin if he hadn’t found anything to complain about.
“Have you even seen a waiter yet?” He murmurs to the male seated across from him while glancing around the restaurant. You would think that he would be more understanding of people in the food industry considering the fact that he had basically grown up in the small restaurant that his mother ran. Then again, being empathic of others wasn’t exactly his strong suit. “And it doesn’t even look like the table has been cleaned. Do you think I should give up being a trainee just so that I can work for them? Geez.”
The young waitress who approached their table didn’t even have the chance to get through her usual spiel before Subin interrupts her. “Oh, so somebody does work here after all. I was starting to think that he this place was completely abandoned, or something. You’re lucky I haven’t complained to your boss yet.” With his arms crossed against his chest, he casually leans back in his chair while shamelessly looking the waitress up and down.
