I finished Wayward son and the better fucking not be the end. My heart. I actually enjoyed this book a lot but it didn’t stop the ending from hurting a lot.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned how brilliantly written chapter 60 of Wayward Son was. For Rainbow to harken back to those lines from the first book? GENIUS. I literally am obsessed will how beautifully it all come together. It put way more emotional punch into the scene while providing something for the fans to recognize in a whole new setting. Basically, it's one of the best pieces of writing I've ever seen and I'm still very emo about it
