the question had the woman arching an eyebrow at the trainee, pulling her hand away from his face, clutching a makeup brush. she was trying to fix the smear that was on the soft eyeshadow she had used for him and she gave a small little dismissive shrug. "i don't know, kiddo, do you think you're in trouble?" it was such a sarcastic, motherly response, and she always had a sick enjoyment of responding to questions with a question.
“what do you think you have done to be in trouble?” nevermind that this was his fourth time in her chair in the past two hours. she was used to having idols in her chair repeatedly, they could often be a bit rowdy and playful with the adrenaline and nerves that came with any kind of schedule. “now, if you could hold still, we could do this properly, bud. don’t make me hold your chin like an aggressive granny!” she scolded with a smile, indicating she wasn’t serious about it, just teasing him.
with an arched eyebrow, she leveled a semi-serious gaze on him. "listen, if we get through this, i'll buy you lunch, what do you say? anything you want? fuck your diet, companies are stupid. you can eat whatever you want, on me."
