This music video is amazing and you should all totally check out Polymath and my awesome coursemates who did this!
Just...
Good afternoon. How are you all? I'm currently sitting in my mums kitchen listening to we show up on radar with a glorious pint of water in my hand. I've just been to the dentist which along with flying and well pain in general is one of my least favourite past times. My mouth feels under the weather and they've told me i've got to go back in four weeks time for some evil action involving drills. Bonus! So... a lot has been going on recently band wise and personally. Personally i'm getting a bit of cabin fever in Nottingham and i feel like my recent stress levels have been un natural for me and sometimes i crave a space where i can be a bit more incognito. There seems to be about 3 degrees of seperation in this city of ours but having said that i think i'd be lonely starting out somewhere new again. I've definately been partying too much recently as well so i'm attempting a sober month and that includes no fags. I think a few people have disappointed me quite a bit in the last month or so i've just really disappeared into a bit of a mental downward spiral. I'm cool though now...sometimes stress makes you act in different ways...clearly want my last girl back though. I think i need to get myself hooked on something like being in love again (with someone new might i add!:)) (the wsuor stuff is amazing by the way especially "spider on a thread") Band wise we've been very busy with build up to the single, been doing loads of press stuff so keep an eye out for various articles in the next month) and the gigs recently have been really cool. By the way fridays show at Cafe de Paris is acoustic...we don't play many of these kind of shows very often but as we're on earlyish and i've just had evil dental fucking it makes more sense singing wise for me to sing a little softer. I hope nobodys disappointed who was coming to see us. We honestly make a proper effort at acoustic shows so they're will be violins, steele guitar, glock, double bass, mandolin and loads more! We're treating this as a full show so don't you lovely london folk show any concern. Think of the show as an intimate rare performance. My mouth should be up to full capacity next week (Jesus that sounds horrible) OK well...Fridays running horse show was a fun old event. It was a rather drunken affair and by that i mean band and audience. Not the tighest we've ever played but energy wise and vibe wise it was a cool show. Had a very house party feeling to it. Thanks to everyone who came down. I've been writing lots of female/male duets recently...i'm pretty excited as to how they're going. Oh and sorry for calling the scottish girl in my last blog "mad" i meant it in the nicest possible way and didn't mean to offend...i should have just written pissed and happy :) Trouble with blogging you can't show what you're face is saying or capture any sort of context. So anyway...the band rides on. See you on Friday - Cafe De Paris (London) next show after that is following Thursday and Saturday in Nottingham. Nowt much more to say for now. See you in London on friday. KISS adx
