Climbing Class wanted!

I have an Until Dawn-themed friend group wanted ad on a rl roleplay that’s set in Wildwood, NJ. I want Climbing Class to be eventually be a thing, so I thought were better to advertise this than on my tumblr, which is basically dedicated to Climbing Class and UD?? who’s ready for opening time?! 20 minutes, folks!!!

just a reminder that tomorrow is opening day! we talked about a time, and we decided on 7 PM EST as opening time, that way we will both be on with a little buffer time to make sure that everything is all ready and nothing is missing. so if you haven’t sent in your pre-opening reserves and still want to do so, make sure to get that in by 6 PM EST. we will not be accepting any after that point until the site itself opens. if you have any questions, please send us an ask!

♦   anna went to high school in wildwood, though she didn’t grow up here

♦    she went off to college at university of central florida to study hospitality and tourism management, so now she plans events. most of her clients are corporations, so she plans mostly business events and outings, but she sometimes does weddings and social parties. (i’ll request some coworkers~ she opened her own business after getting some solid clients approx a year ago)

♦    personality: motherly, caring, sarcastic, impatient, fierce, occasionally judgemental, strong willed.

♦    gimme a fam to throw her into!!! willing to say she’s been here forever or w/e else, i just want a fam

♦    casually addicted to caffeine and shopping. mostly caffeine. she gets intense headaches if she hasn’t had caffeine. 

♦    was in a serious relationship her senior year of college and for several years after: they moved to wildwood together. anna got pregnant at 24 and was rather excited, even if they weren’t married yet and it wasn’t planned. annnnd then they lost the baby when she was seven months pregnant (sobs).

♦    safe to say she’s pretty fucked up over that. it killed her relationship and they broke up, he moved out of their house, and it’s been approx two years since then.

fun features!

hi friends! we just wanted to share a few neat little features we’ll have available on wtc in way of a new preview. please remember that we’re always open to feedback and suggestions, so if you have any neat ideas yourself, please send them in to us and we’ll do our best to incorporate it! (:

optional, site-provided templates!! there will be a handful of nice lil templates that match the site’s current skin in one way or another that everyone has the option to use if they wish. chances of more being added over time are highly likely, but there are a handful to start off with.

other resources!! along that line, we’ll have a board for resources / requests. so if you have templates you want to share, or enjoy making graphics for others, you can feel free to post to do that! and on the flip side, anyone who is in need of roleplay resources can post a request and see if anyone on the site would be willing to help out.

badges!! we have awards enabled, and there are already a handful of cute little badges we have up that people can start to collect from the very beginning of the site opening. it’s a growing list: so we will be adding more as we think of them and will try to incorporate any suggested to us!

features!! we’ll be doing a weekly featured character/shipper and a weekly featured wanted ad, to try and help promote some shippers that don’t have as much love, or wanted ads that have been up a while without getting taken. this will work on a rotating cycle to make sure that one character/ad isn’t getting more attention than any other, so no one has to worry about favorites or anything.

development boards!! as mentioned, we’re going to be very focused on character development, so everyone will have the chance to get their own development sub-board on the site once it opens, where you can develop your characters to your heart’s content. there will also be badges related to development to help try and encourage people to really explore their characters!

jcink arcade!! we haven’t seen many sites that have this enabled lately, but it was a thing on some boards a couple years ago and we thought it’d be a fun thing to bring back. if you’re not sure what the arcade is, it’s a place on the board where you can play games like asteroids, frogger, or snake and it ranks high scores and all that. we thought it’d be pretty rad for a little friendly competition and for when you want to be on the site but don’t necessarily feel like being productive.
