"Say the word, love... I'm sure we're ready."
Music blared from Iris's CD player while she jumped on her trampoline, singing alone loudly and out of tune despite it being instrumental music. She'd just moved in a week ago, and she hadn't met anyone yet, but she still went out everyday to swim and jump and act like a goofball because in all reality, she really was a huge goofball. Eventually she saw a curly red head of hair and shouted, "Hey!" while waving enthusiastically.
Jehan went outside after a long day of work to hang the laundry on the line to dry. He paid no mind to the loud music coming from the new neighbor next door, figuring it was some stupid tween or something. It was definitely a girl, he could tell from the singing. And she wasn’t terrible either. She would definitely be better if she wasn’t jumping on the trampoline (he could hear the springs creaking every time she jumped). When he heard the girl speak, the poet slowly turned around, his eyes widening a bit. His eyes met a pretty blonde girl who was probably just a little bit younger than him, and she was soaking wet from swimming in the pool. Slowly, the ginger made his way towards the fence, biting gently at his pierced lip. “Hi there. I’m Jehan… You’re new around here, right?”
"Master," Iris groaned softly, a slightly pained look on her face. "My tummy hurts…"
Brujon lay curled in his bed, his thick dreadlocks spilling out across the pillow under his head. When he heard the soft voice, he stirred slightly, rolling over to face the door to see Iris. “Mm… What do you want me to do about that? Doesn’t Jehan have some medicine in his room?”
"Excuse me"
Send me an “Excuse Me” and I’ll tell you my muse’s reaction to being Interrupted while…
9. Giving a Lecture
Kinsley looked at the other, her eyes wide in surprise that the other had any nerve to interrupt her from what she had to say. Putting her hands on her hips, she spoke up, “What is it that is so important?”
Dark!Tom
The man watched from the trees as a party came by on horseback. He smiled cruelly, seeing a young woman on a pure white horse looking through the trees. He motioned to his men and they charged, ambushing the royals, as the man in black armour dashed through on a coal black steed, sweeping the princess up and knocking her out in one hit. He brought her to a castle and laid her down in a bed, waiting for her to come to, calculating his exact plan.
@ ayyyyyy school is boring love me
91. Astronaut AU, (I’m going to take a lot of artistic license. Random Space AU less Astronaut AU.)
The term Astronaut had changed a lot in the past 200 years or so. It changed from being someone who’d simple been into space. To someone who studied the stars and other bodies in space. Now it effectively meant space pirate. It really showed you how much language can change.
Jehan was an Astronaut. Flying through the stars. Stealing when necessary. Stealing when hired. Never hurting anyone more than necessary. It was part of his immoral morals. So when the senators daughter was shot in the side he felt he had to take her with him. The other crew members be damned.
Given they didn’t give much of a fight since they knew the kind of person Jehan was and that he wouldn’t hesitate to beat them to a pulp if the girl ended up dying because the senator was more worried about the painting they’d stolen than his own daughters life.
So now he was sat by her bedside waiting for her to wake up after Joly had treated her. Stroking the back of her hand as he read one of the old poetry books he had liberated from some rich business man who didn’t appreciate the arts.
my schedule is boring as hell ok we've got 50 minute periods. seven of them, and a thirty-five-ish minute study-hall type class between 3rd and 4th except on mondays and fridays its exploratory which is basically an elective that changes every nine weeks. right now mine is scholar's bowl practice bc im a fuckin nerd. but im also still in 8th grade so. yeah.
pretty much once i got into high school i was able to choose my electives but i got none of the ones i wanted so i got a study hall with a lunch right after
