the second nicolas found his way back to his room, he picked his ipod up and connected it to the speaker, blasting whatever was on a random spotify playlist that he found. this time, a slew of top 40s songs began to fill his little room, and he shrugged, bopping along with it. so he had terrible music taste. sue him.
it wasn’t until justin bieber came on that he began singing along, though. “i like to be anything you want...” he sang as he went about tidying what was going to be his room for the next few months, not realising that he was disturbing someone else on the other side of the thin partition that separated both rooms.
