With Times Gone By. {FutureAU}{BenSeung}
An avalanche of small gold coins sounded out inside the silent vault, the dragons body turning as he awoke from a deep sleep. He did not know just how long he had been sleeping for but he was not quick to waken. His body rolled inside his bed of gold, causing what covered him to scatter down the mountain in which he had made his home. His tomb was empty apart from himself, that was how he liked it. It was his own personal space and it was where he slept whenever his elf would part on whatever mission he had set himself. He was at home amongst gold, it was calming, it brought about sleep rather quickly. But as his body stirred reptilian gold eyes forced themselves open, heavy body shifting to sit up and dig his way out og the nest he had created for himself.
He might not have been informed of it but the elf had returned from wherever he had been, he could sense the electricity in the air. His elf was never going to be able to get around his castle without the dragon knowing. Much like in his previous life he could detect those moving around his home and Hyunseung’s aura stood out start against those of his servants and whoever else might have been roaming through the palace. It was almost magnetic in a way, it pulled the dragon from his slumber, forcing him out of his resting place in search of him. He would never be that hard to find. Ben would always wander aimlessly around the place in search of the elf without any real notion other than a feeling that the elf nearby and for the most part, he was always quickly found.
A hand combed shoulder length dark brown strands from his face, barely missing the horns that had protruded from either side of his forehead. They were tiny, no more than an inch or so in length but they remained unknown to the dragon. Mirrors weren’t something he was entirely conscious of when roaming through the palace and with his time spent sleeping; it was no surprise that he hadn’t noticed their growth. His looks were the last of his concern at that very moment, his attention being centered on finding Ruivion to greet him in his return. He had missed him, missed being next to him and that alone was enough for Ben to seek him out rather than have the elf come to him.
Heavy feet padded down through the palace, weaving through rooms thoughtlessly until he came across a sight that brought a smile to his lips; Hyunseung standing over a dead body. He always did love when the elf was feeling murderous, and who could really blame him? He could see from this far that the man was an intruder, an unwanted rat inside of his home. He had deserved his death which was why Ben paid no notice as he made his way towards the elf, arms slipping over pale shoulders as lips ran up the length of Hyunseung’s neck, paying attention not to get himself caught in the vast length of those white blond strands cascading down his lovers back. “Welcome home, Rasvim. I see you brought back a prize. Or were you simply disposing of some unwanted vermin?” Laughter clear in the unusually deep tone of Ben’s voice. He really had no interest in who it was or why they were lying dead on the palace floor, but he did like to hear Hyunseung speak.
