Hello. I have discovered your fanworks not so long ago - first The Third Gift, then Foreboding and WTHB, then your drawings. I have to thank you alot, as you have permitted me to discover another world I didn't really care so far. I've never really be a fan of fem!Percy or kids fics, but I have to say now I'm obsessed. I'll add that I didn't really care about Annabeth as a character (in books and in fanfictions) but I find myself intrigued by yours. Both Annabeth in WTHB and Arimneste. I think it's really interesting to imagine her as Odysseus' and Percy's child. And I do feel the reincarnation stuff is not enough exploited in the books.
You also renew my love for Perpollo, so again, thanks a lot for sharing your writing, your art, your headcanons and all of this. <3
This is so sweet 💕💕💕 In fact, I wasn’t much of a fem Percy girly either until I read They’ll Name a City After Us and became obsessed with it.
I have to say I’m a sucker for platonic Annabeth and Percy, so this gives me their relationship in multiple ways. In WTHB their sister in everything else but parents, and in the Athenide AU Arimneste represents Percy’s connection with the future, even if she doesn’t know yet that Arimneste is Annabeth reborn, though she obviously was reminded of her best friend by little Ari.
In the Athenide AU, it’s very tragic bcs she loses both Annabeth and Arimneste in tragical ways and both were changer of waters for Percy/Perse. Like, Percy think she was reborn as Athenide bcs she was covered in annabeth’s blood when the time travel happened. I haven’t properly decided how, but Arimneste’s death by Calypso’s curse is meant to mark the decline of the Era of Heroes. And their mother/daughter relationship is very dear to me.
WTHB Annabeth (aka Snakebeth) is also sooo tragic. She’s the definition of being stuck in the past, and like, her younger self would be terrified of what she became. Ik that thing “would your child self feel safe around you?” and Annabeth’s answer is literally NO, and she knows that. UGHHHH
And ngl, always happy to make people into or back into Perpollo 🥳🥳🥳🥳 glad it worked with you! Thanks for reading the silly things I write.
