Here’s my problem. I finished Welcome to Prospero Manor and have a computer, but I don’t think it’s going to sell well. It’s basically about a plague and a revolution. That’s been done already.

I don’t know if it’s just Doubt or if I’m actually being smart by abandoning yet ANOTHER completed project to write something new.

I don’t know. For now I guess I’ll juggle some final touches to WTPM and start Elokai. 🤷🏽‍♀️

So...when to Wizard World in Philly, went to a panel about writing (didn’t have time for all the others, but it was amazing they had so many!), got motivated to finish WTPM, decided I’m a masochist (actually, I need something to put in the last game) and decided to do a few different perspectives, officially hate myself, and also told two people they can punch/slap me if the book isn’t finished by July. Soooo...yeah.

Another favorite note from editing: “ooooooohhhh mmmmmmmyyyyy ggggoooooooddddddd. We get it she’s an idiot. Stop having her wax poetic about it. Ffs.”

I love when my editing notes are unhelpful tidbits like “if you say the word ‘can’ one more fucking time” or just an eye roll emoji. It’s very helpful.
