What's your novel about? ^^

yay i was hoping someone would ask!!

okay so the main character is named austin and he and his best friend adam go on a road trip the summer after they graduate high school like they planned to camp on one side of the country and basically drive across and camp on the other side and they go to a bunch of other places along the way most of which i’ve already plotted (like all of the world’s largest things lmao) and spoiler alert it’s basically a childhood friends to lovers au because those are my shit and i can’t completely leave my fanfic roots behind :p

Have you thought about their styles? Do they share hoodies? (Clothes sharing is the best trope.) What would they wear to prom? (I think you said they were 18...) I'm excited ehhh

i have! i don’t know if i mentioned that the story takes place in the summer of 2006 or not but austin (the narrator) basically wears the stereotypical teenage guy clothes of that time (cargo shorts, jeans, lots of hollister and abercrombie, polo shirts, stuff like that) and adam (his best friend) wears like...wranglers and plaid and cowboy boots because he’s a legit Country Boy and it’s just how he rolls lmao 

holy shit i hadn’t even considered clothes sharing?? what is wrong with me?? i’m sure there has been hoodie sharing at some point and omg i kind of want to write that as like a character study or w/e :o

yup they’re 18! the story takes place the summer after they graduate high school  and they’ve both just turned 18 (they have the same birthday!!) 

hmm prom stuff...

okay so idk how american prom differs from similar events in other countries and idek if it’s different in other states but here in texas--yes i set the story in texas 😂--if you’re a dude you wear a tux and you match your vest and tie to your dates dress so i guess what matters more is what their dates were wearing ahaha (if you want to hear about that i have some h/cs but i don’t want to bore u lol)

What are your ocs favorite foods?

adam is obsessed with fruit loops okay like if other people didn’t try to intervene he would eat them for breakfast every single day (and possibly other meals because what is nutrition)

austin loves bacon/anything with bacon on it but mostly bacon cheeseburgers!

adam! since he’s so laid-back and chill most people assume he’s like that all the time but hell hath no fury like adam merrino when he’s first woken up--even austin tiptoes around him then 😂

they do! i almost made it bigger but i’ve dated a guy around a foot taller than me once and it was v hard and i wouldn’t wish that on my boys 😂 

honestly feel free to ask whatever u like as long as it’s about the characters and not their relationship ahaha i don’t want to spoil stuff :p i also have collections for them on weheartit if u search wtsib on there (just ignore the trip one i’m still editing it lol)

and i’m still in the character development/early plotting stage but thank you! i’m so ready to bring this to life!!
