What sort of holidays do you think Hylians celebrate? I could ask all races, but that would be a lot to ask at one time. You think they celebrate the day Hyrule was founded as a kingdom?

OOoo I am very glad you asked I have been writing up chapter for my long fic, Where Time Takes Us, for some time now, and part of that planning process was constructing an entire timeline of events and speculating on how to flesh out the world and how it changes during the different seasons and months and what kind of history might be tied to it’s calendar and oh would you look at that it’s a custom Kip version of a Hyrule Calender complete with month names and birthdates and hypothetical holidays that mainly center around the equinoxes and also little legends and stuff because worldbuilding you know

(also for that second part, I like to think Hyrule being founded as a kingdom was a Divine Event, since Hylia like gave the royal family the power and everything, so I would probably place that in August/Goddess Moon somewhere. I’ll probably be cheeky and google some IRL holiday to parallel it with)
