You should play “Where The Water Tastes Like Wine”
(Especially if you like Over The Garden Wall)
🚙 ROAD GAME RECS 🚙 This week, we spent some time with Where the Water Tastes Like Wine! You play as a wanderer collecting and distributing stories, watching them grow and change as you go.
You can travel all across a Great Depression-era US by train, hitchhiking, or just good ol' walking & humming. It's dense, captivating, and so so unique! Perfect to immerse yourself on a quiet, candlelit night. And the soundtrack is stellar!
Let us know what other road trip games we should play!
one of my favorite games of all time (that a lot of people dislike because the gameplay is almost TOO casual) is on sale for $2
I quite literally never post personal stuff on here anymore, but I got this really cool tattoo yesterday and I thought the crowd here would like it too 🌩
Ok so I'm playing "Where the water tastes like Wine"...
WHAT IS UP WITH INDIE GAMES AND GOOD NARRATORS OMFG
THESE MFS AND DISEMBODIED VOICES UGHHHH
GOD IM IN LOVE WITH HIM
First it was Stanley Parable, then Disco Elysium and now this...
Omfg someone sedate me-
“where the water tastes like wine” is literally all of my interests intersecting you’ve got a slower game with tarot and westerns and magical realism and ghosts and historical queerness and deals with the devil and the importance of stories and the way they grow and tie us all together PLUS an incredible soundtrack i’ve only played an hour so far and it’s got me foaming at the mouth 10/10 play this game
Wander, O wander, no reason to stay
Yonder, go yonder, your fears cast away
A home of breath and bone, so they say
