Because I am SO behind
My dear Cheriks, fear not, for I am still super enthralled with the boys & their story, but I am also a big baby about the new trailer and I can only scream into the abyss and write my own nonsense to feel better. DBH sideswiped me but I can juggle!!
Anyway, it’s Erik learning more about his future boy and I hope y’all are prepared for future heartbreak. (It gets better! ...in this book, anyway.)

I said I’d have a WTW update today and... I do not have it! For a variety of reasons. Being a week off my game has been disastrous for my entire scene.
I know the trailer fueled my fire for writing my version of X-Mens though. Let me tell you. No spoilers but *eternal screaming* (Especially Charles. ALL WILL LOVE HIM AND DESPAIR)

So, as we all know, we have two seconds of footage in the film of Raven & Charles getting along and being cute together rather than a little or a LOT fussy, so it’s hard for me to go back to the source material and get Inspired for them being chatty and stupid together.

Part Two Chapter 2 is drafted, almost edited, but of course Erik wants a different style of gif-set. Of course. Of course.
This WTW interlude introduces a pairing that is completely and absolutely necessary for later parts of the Waking the Witch world but I’m so, so NERVOUS about including it because of the fandom climate. I feel I’ve done a good way of explaining it, and it’s one of those things that I like the story and not the “kink” people attribute it to being a part of. So hopefully y’all will forgive me for something like this and take me on faith that I can make it work!
